Sailor Christina or Fight Club Xtina?

Is Christina Aguilera’s new look not one of the biggest transformations in recent pop memory? Have we already forgotten her Xtina “Dirrty” video? We complain when our stars gets trashy, but when they clean up, we say nothing.

In her Grease meets the USO video “Candyman,” she proves that you can still look hot without having to wear leather chaps (not that there’s anything wrong with that).

The lesson? Marriage saves some pop starlets and ruins others. No names.

Fu-Tang! Fu-Tang!

The ’90s are hot. Especially ’90s hip-hop. And the Fu-Schnickens are one of the overlooked groups of that era. Case-in-point: They weren’t even in the running for MTV’s Greatest Hip-Hop Groups of All-Time debate.

They jumped on the kung-fu tip years before the Wu-Tang Clan, and even featured then Orlando Magic’s Shaquille O’Neal on one of their singles. But when it comes to style, their best video was “La Schmoove.” Check out the head-to-toe lime green denim outfit, the blinding fluorescents, flat-tops, and Phife of A Tribe Called Quest’s tie-hat. Yes, at the time, they were all cool.
