First of all, we gotta say, skulls are definitely in. Why? Because they’re rock. And is rock ever out? No. So therefore, skulls aren’t going anywhere. Certain skull accessories might become trendy and then not (looking at you, Thomas Wylde scarf). So, that’s not to say that you need to appoint yourself in head-to-toe skulls (again, we’re really not sure about the Thomas Wylde tunics either!), but a smartly placed skull accessory almost always gives an oufit an unexpected edge. We’ve seen a TON of your garden variety silver/metal skull earrings, so we MAJORLY psyched to discover these fun and unsual coral and gold skull earrings by Iosselliani. We were not psyched, however, to discover their price: $1,092. That’s dollars AMERICAN. Wahhht? We quickly went on a quest, “SkullQuest,” if you will, to find unusual skull earrings that are way below the price of a semester’s worth of books at most universities. Here’s what we found:
We like the evil little grin on these real-gold Me & Ro earrings. They’re $295 at Amazon.com.

Nicole Ritchie’s been spotted in pieces by C.C. Skye. This is on sale: $85.80 @ Asos.com.

Skulls in top hats are VERY Slash! These are by Etsy seller Bombalurina, and they’re just $14!

For all you rock girlie girls! $13 by Etsy seller SchoolofCharms

His-and-her enamel skellies! Just $12.99 at emitations.com

Artsy earrings, inspired by Dia de Los Muertos sugar skulls. $21 by Etsy seller artallnight

Crystal eyes = extra bling/ spook factor. $23 by Esty seller Mizdragonfly

Precious By Liang garnet earrings are a rock-bottom $10 @ Dillards.com.

This lil guy’s mouth moves AND he’s just $9.99 @ Girlprops.com
So, whatcha think? Would you pay over a grand for skull earrings? Or any earrings that don’t contain diamonds, for that matter? Mull it over while you watch one of the most epic rock songs of all time: Guns N’ Roses’ “Paradise City.”

Andreina has that crazy-cool combo of classy-comfie. The Dominican Republic-native was wearing an Abercrombie Tee, Hollister jeans and gold sandals from Aldo, but she was also wearing some blinged-out earrings and some totally tight, absolutely amazing Prada sunglasses that we’d almost consider committing misdemeanors for! And it wasn’t just her Prada shades and the Coach patchwork swingpack bag she was rockin’ that clued us in to the fact that she’s a styleista. When she told us what was on her fashion wishlist — a Movado watch, Chanel bag and anything Christian Dior and Valentino — we realized Andreina is a serious fashion fan!
If your budget is more Hennes & Mauritz (also known as H&M) than haute couture, more Gap than Givenchy, check out a few items we’re particularly into from one of Andreina’s favorite places to shop: Hollister. Holla!

Embarcadero top @ $15.90

Wipeout Beach top, in grey @ $24.50

1,000 Steps Beach tote @ $15.90
And dudes, we didn’t forget about you…

Los Trancos shorts @ $39.50

Rubber flip-flops, @ $15.50 — We love the selections of colors!

Marc Jacobs has been collaborating with renown skate shoe company Vans for a couple years now, cranking out metallic, leather and corduroy versions of the classic slip-ons, plus polka dots and other cool, clever prints. But his Fall 2007 line is probably his dopest yet. We love the tongue-in-cheek outlines of the classic sneaker and wingtip slip-ons. And the primary-colored sole featured on several other upcoming versions are tres nautical, and honestly, when is nautical NOT in? They’re available in Marc Jacobs stores (and probably whichever online sneaker site you may obsessively visit) beginning in June. Check out Complex mag’s blog and Sneakerfreaker.com for more of the rundown.
And… since couture kicks are the new dress shoes, there are tons of celebs we could see rockin’ these… Adam Brody AND Adam Levine definitely come to mind. And speaking of Maroon 5’s stylish lead singer: his family owns the posh California m. fredric boutiques — think Kitson but without the kitsch — (peep their MySpace page here), and they’re L.A. Fashion Week staples, so no WONDER he always looks great. And speaking of WONDER, check out Adam and the boys doing “Makes We Wonder” live from their ‘TRL’ Spankin’ New Music Week performance just yesterday.

She hasn’t been in a good movie in awhile (”Black Dahlia” anyone?) but this girl steady keeps getting work. Of course it helps when you’re rumored to be linked to some of the hottest bachelor’s in the entertainment world (what up, Justin! peace, Jeter!). Plus, we showed you her Scarlett Hearts RBK line awhile back. And now we’re showing you part deux of her Louis Vuitton campaign. This time around the shoot was inspired by old Hollywood legendary divas like Grace Kelly and Marilyn Monroe. So now can she please do another good movie?

Everyone knows that celebrities have “people” who maintain their “official” Myspace pages. But the simplicity and the honesty on Marc Jacobs’ Myspace page tells us that it’s the real deal. The fashion icon has been busy in the news lately regarding his stint in rehab (who hasn’t been there lately?) And thanks to Fashionista, we learned of this page. This is what he wrote: “I saw that my boyfriend has a MYSPACE page so therefore I wanted one of my own..I live mostly in Paris working as creative director of Louis Vuitton & the other half of the year I’m work on my line Marc Jacobs. I keep very busy!!!! ”
Here is what we learned from his page:
Interests include: yoga, Amy Winehouse, Shrek, South Park, The Great Gatsby, Yves Saint Laurent.
Friends include: Samantha Ronson, Jenna Jameson, and Amanda Lepore.
He only has 32 friends (mostly really cute guys in different states of undress…hot!). Hurry and ask him to add you!

In case you haven’t seen the latest issue of Blender Magazine –
1. Where have you been?!
2. You should go do so now!
3. Like. Right. NOW!
4. WARNING: Do not bring small children with you to the newsstand.
Avril Lavigne graces the cover and there are some pretty risque photos in the mix. It’s a pretty sweet article that has Avril talkin’ ’bout booze, not tolerating drugs and knowing that she’s hot! (we couldnʼt agree more)
And check out our photo flipbook that showcases Avril’s fashion trends over the past few years. We heart Mrs. Whibley and her “Sk8ter” girl estilo. There’s not much this lady can do wrong.

Elizabeth, a college student from Connecticut, stood out because she was put together and trendy in her metallics but still looked comfy and cute. Here’s her style story:
What she’s rocking: Top from a Myrtle Beach boutique; Kohl’s jeans; Old Navy flip-flops; Fossil bag; earrings and sunglasses from a mall kiosk
Where she likes to shop: Hollister, Forever 21, Abercrombie & Fitch
Favorite brands: Juicy, Coach
How she describes her style: “Pretty, fun, and unique.”
Style icon: Hilary Duff. “Her styles are different and cute, and I like all the clothes she wears.”
If she could go on a shopping spree, she’d buy… Shoes
Item she can’t live without: “This shirt.”
Wanna snag her bag or cop her top? Here’s what we found for you:

It’s just $38 at Amiciaccessories.com
And we had a really hard time deciding which red and white top we liked best, so we threw both in our cart:

They’re both from Wet Seal, and they’re both just $10! You can find the top one here and the bottom one right here.
And, you know you need some cute accessories. We really like the little pop of contrasting colors from these earrings:

They’re just $6.50 at Claires.com.
And on the Hilary Duff tip, we’ve gotta agree with Elizabeth. Hilary’s super stylin’. Check out her “With Love” video for further evidence:
