? Kat DeLuna performs "Whine Up"
Earlier today we had a nice little midday break we thought we'd share. Dominican firecracker Kat DeLuna dropped by our Times Square office to celebrate the one-year anniversary of our Latino network, MTV Tr3s, with a sizzling performance. After Sucker Free Latino host L. Boogs introduced the audience to the network's latest VJ, Karli of Karlifornia, it was showtime.
Dressed in denim short shorts, a white tank top and some slamming Air Jordans, DeLuna did her thing for little ol' us during what she called "the Kat DeLuna show." One of our conference rooms was literally transformed into a dance club complete with a DJ, an MC and tons of people (we even spotted our VJ Sway checkin' out the show). It was so loud, our ears are still ringing!
With two backup dancers in tow, Kat shook her booty through three songs off her album 9 Lives, starting off with a bang with her hit "Whine Up." She called her next song, "Run the Show" -- which she dedicated to all "us ladies" in the house 'cause, you know, we "run the show" -- "saucy, cute and energetic." Then, for her finale, she performed "Animal," which she said "really, really, really defines me. If I want something, I'm gonna go grab it, like an animal going after its prey." And she wasn't kidding, her fancy footwork was accompanied by a lot of pretend scratching, snarling and possibly some new mating rituals (like getting humped by her two female backup dancers). The performance was short but sweet … but one thing's for sure, that girl sure knows some crazy dance moves! We gotta start bringing earplugs to work, though…

Here's that new mating ritual we were talking about!
