Fergie's new video "Clumsy" is basically an amalgam of many things we find hard to resist: Amy Winehouse-style retro-nuevo beehives, free falling, fake planes, cheesy acting, En Vogue-era little black dresses, old-school video games and um, hot dudes, including one who, unsurprisingly, looks like Josh Duhamel.
The talking-pop-up-book video, directed by Rich Lee and Mark Webb (who also shot Fergie's "London Bridge" video as well as Good Charlotte's "The River," several My Chemical Romance videos including "Teenagers" and dozens of others) and Rich Lee, is shot in a similar style to those visually compelling HP "The Computer Is Personal Again" commercials created by Motion Theory.
But speaking of commercials, the video is fairly saturated with product placements. As much as we love MAC and DSquared, it's hard to miss those blatant shout outs, as well as the fairly gratuitous Motorola plug.
Watch it now and tell us what you think: Fergalicious or too much brand pimpage?
