Timbaland reveals a softer side in the new video for "Apologize," a track that features alt-rockers OneRepublic. The song, about the pain of a relationship gone awry and the need to move on, was remixed by the super-producer for his album, Timbaland Presents Shock Value, which also features the Nelly Furtado/Justin Timberlake duet "Give It to Me."
Softly singing in the background, Tim uncharacteristically lays low during the somber song, letting 1R's lead singer, Ryan Tedder, take center stage. Tedder may not be a well known rock star just yet, but he's already tasted success. He wrote and produced Jennifer Lopez's "Do It Well," co-wrote Ashley Tisdale's "He Said, She Said" and produced sixth season American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis' upcoming debut album. With Tim on his side, it could be Tedder's turn to hit it big.
What do you think, does the song have what it takes to make OneRepublic the next big thing?
