When Kate Moss "graced" the cover of V magazine done up in a spit take-inducing glued-on Paul Bunyan-style beard and olde-tymey 'stache back in 2005, the accompanying cover line read "Oh Man Is That Kate Moss?" As far as we know, Lily Allen hasn't "glammed it up" in faux facial hair lately, but she is about to trump Kate as the next celeb face of British lingerie house Agent Provocateur. And our first thought upon seeing the photo above was "Oh Man! Is That Lily Allen?"
Agent Provocateur, for those of you unfamiliar with "the most erotic lingerie in the world," was co-founded by Joseph Corré, who's the son of Vivienne Westwood and Sex Pistols' ex-manager Malcolm McLaren, and appropriately, the barely-there wear is often laced with a bit of an elegant rock nuance. The brand's also known for their Kylie-Minogue-on-a-velvet-covered mechanical-bull commercial, which was deemed too hawt for British TV back in 2001.
Lily's reportedly gonna earn around six figures for the campaign, which rolls out this spring. And if she looks this good in just a teensy little photo, we can't wait to see more. While we wish there was less blog chatter about her weight (um, she always looked great!!), we're still completely stoked about her new modeling career... which is far more exciting than the new Lily Allen credit card. Though at least a credit card with Lily Allen's likeness is slightly cooler than the NOW! (That's What I Call) credit card, which actually seriously exists. (Really, is it possible to impress ANYONE by whipping out one of those bad boys? That's what I call "pretty lame.") Anyway, neither is weirder than the Ghostface Killah doll -- that thing has crazy eyes.
