There's been so much chatter about Ashanti and when she used to run the game and how she was the princess of R&B and all her label drama and whether or not she's still with Nelly (we'd assume the answer's "yes," since they were just pictured together at the Grammys).
True, since her third album -- the platinum-selling Concrete Rose -- she's been just as involved in the movie biz as the music biz -- she's rolled out a movie a year since 2005, with roles in Coach Carter, John Tucker Must Die and Resident Evil: Extinction.
She also walked the runway in the Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection fashion show, looking like a billion bucks.
But with her long-anticipated fourth album, The Declaration -- for which she reeled in a who's who of hip-hop and R&B talent, including Jermaine Dupri, Robin Thicke, L.T. Hutton, Babyface and Pharrell -- Ashanti may be about to trade in her princess tiara for a queen's crown.
Check out this MTV News interview and see how Ashanti's projecting her inner Oprah in her new video, "The Way That I Love You" -- and don't miss the video or Ashanti herself on TRL this Wednesday.
