Also, in an MTV News interview at South By Southwest, the Virginia Beach production whizkids confirmed the obvious: the single and the album are definitely about (and possibly by) mind-altering substances. According to Chad Hugo, the group’s third LP is “… a big album of LSD, sonic drug.”

We don’t care if it’s about quantum physics or about more lap dances. We’re just stoked for another N.E.R.D. album, and we’re practically beside ourselves with the news that N.E.R.D. and Kanye are packing up their Louis Vuitton trunks and hitting the road together on Kanye West’s “Glow In the Dark” tour. (Go for the hip-hop, stay for whatever spectacular neon-anime-LED set dressing inevitably comes with a Kanye show.)
