Much has been made of Coldplay's new promotional wardrobe -- modern-day Napoleon meets American Apparel! -- for the band's new album, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends. (Case in point: check out a wide-eyed Chris Martin on the cover of Rolling Stone.)
For a band that supports Amnesty International and Oxfam, it's sorta surprising to see them dressing like they're about to take down the Ottoman Empire. More surprising though is that Chris Martin now looks like he's been shopping at Gerard Way's yard sale. Could a Coldplay-My Chemical Romance collabo be far off? (At this point, we'd welcome anything new from My Chemical Romance -- their The Black Parade Is Dead live CD/ DVD is out July 1, and the band's next LP should be out some time in 2009.)
Oh, and by the way, this guy is definitely not going to be collaborating with Coldplay.
