Lil Wayne's new album, Tha Carter III -- which was met with more anticipation and enthusiasm than the arrival of Christmas -- sold over 1 million units, breaking records as quickly as they flew off shelves. (Sorry, Kanye.) Lately, only R. Kelly's has a better reason to celebrate.
And speaking of celebrating, when we met up with Lil Wayne backstage at TRL the other week, we asked him how he planned to celebrate the release of album. His response? "Work work work. Just keep working."
And that's exactly what he did when he shot his FNMTV performance in L.A. last night. If you've ever seen Wayne live, you know that he performs like he's defending his life, and his performance of "A Milli" (appropriately enough) was so intense that we had to give you some before you can see it tomorrow night on FNMTV.
Check out an exclusive advance look at Lil Wayne's FNMTV live performance, and don't miss the full-length performance tomorrow night.
+ Tune in to FNMTV tomorrow night to see brand-new videos and appearances by Vampire Weekend, Boys Like Girls, Lil Mama, and Shawty Lo. Plus: get a behind-the-scenes look at FNMTV.
