We're betting you already knew that Miley Cyrus -- the Hannah Montana star and shower/bath gel impresario -- and Trace Cyrus of Metro Station were not-so-secretly related. But we're betting you didn't know just how far Miley's willing to go for her family.
Yep, although she's been mostly playing it safe since that icky Vanity Fair misstep, Miley's agreed to put her pristine teen image on hold once again to do a cameo in her half-bro's new goth-themed music video (which is inspired by '80s cult thriller, The Lost Boys). Fortunately, thanks to that whole Twilight phenom, vampires are TOTALLY IN right now! 'Course, the reformed Disney star's not exactly playing a terrifying creature of the undead.
"The video [for Metro Stations's "Seventeen Forever"] starts with Trace riding in a bumber car, when he gets hit by another driver: Miley," PopEater reports. Their father, Billy Ray, plays the ride operator."
Oooh, scary! Can't wait to see how it all turns out. Personally, we'd have preferred to see Miley as a ruthless bloodsucker, rocking the mainstream goth-rock look (like Kat Von D, or her nearly identical twin, Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody), but we'll settle for seeing her in fire-engine-red lipstick and pseudo-smudged eyeliner.
After all, she has a reputation to maintain.
