We all know that for the past several years, Britney Spears has been in the news more for missteps in her personal life than for furthering what has largely been an amazing musical career. But, in recent months, she's been concentrating on getting things back on track. And with a new album, Circus, on the horizon, she's ready to talk to the world and tell her story, and she's going to do it exclusively on MTV.
On Nov. 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, MTV will air a 90-minute documentary about Spears' willing return to the spotlight. Tentatively titled On the Record, the special will include brand-new interviews with Britney and behind-the-scenes footage of her in the recording studio, rehearsing, at the video shoot for her new video, "Womanizer" and more.
After you watch the preview below, head over to MTV News' article to find out more about the Nov. 30 documentary. With Britney making statements like, "What the hell was I thinking?" this is bound to be a revealing look at a welcome comeback.
PS: If you are really, really interested in seeing Britney's "Womanizer" video, you might want to visit this little blog of ours on Friday night, when we're told we're going to have an MTV exclusive version of the Joseph Kahn-directed video to post. He's the guy who also directed her "Stronger" and "Toxic" clips, as well as the new Pussycat Dolls video. Anyway, we're hoping to have it here on Buzzworthy tomorrow night. Surely, it's possible that we won't, but you wouldn't want to miss it if we did, would you?
