OK, we know what you're thinking. Hell hasn't frozen over, Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad haven't kissed and made up and -- despite what pre-Aristotelian philosophers once thought-- the Earth does not appear be to be flat. So what's up with this totes surreal pic of Tokio Hotel and the Jonas Brothers hugging it out in New York not long before the 2008 VMAs?

Yeah, turns out that whole Tokio/Jo Bro maybe-rivalry thing was just a product of our overactive imaginations. (Hey, score! Guess that means all that TV-watching, Internet surfing and video games playing hasn't completely rotted our brains after all!)
