5 Reasons Why Christina Aguilera & Lady Gaga Should Be BFF

Sooooo, there's a bit of controversy going on right now regarding Lady Gaga -- whose new video, "Poker Face," is futuro-freaky/ scary and not at all about Vegas -- and Christina Aguilera. We're not naming names, but it seems that SOME people think that Christina's new look borrows heavily from Lady Gaga's post-punk, Mad Max-meets-Xanadu electro-pop glam thing.

We're normally not ones to take sides, but now that this sitch is reaching a fever pitch, we here at Buzzworthy have just one question: CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG??

The solution is clearly: make love not war.

And so, herewith, are our top 5 reasons Christina and Gaga should obviously be besties:

5. Halvsies on make-up!  Not everyone can pull off peacock lashes and hot pink lipstick, but these ladies both know how to work it. Two electric blue mascaras are always better than one.

4. Remember when Christina AND Britney made out with Madonna? Of course you do! Grrl power is the name of the game. These two don't necessarily have to swap spit, but trust us: one night out on the town with Christina and Lady Gaga in matching high-cut leotards, and we're all gonna be talking about it foreva-eva.

3. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Everyone's already talking about Christina copying Lady Gaga, Gaga sounding like Gwen Stefani, so flip the script, girls, and give us all the story we all want. Collaborate on a song! Pull out something like "Lady Marmalade," part dos! Then say it was all part of your plan anyway.

2. You both have really hard names to spell: S-t-e-f-a-n-i G-e-r-m-a-n-o-t-t-a and Christina A-g-u-i-l-e-r-a. But just THINK of the possibilities of an Us Magification name mash-up: Christinagaga! Ladiguilera! And stuff...
