In the photo above, it's pretty clear that Kid Cudi is imitating the facial expression on his Jesus necklace. Is it possible that the Kanye West protegé is already elevating his self image into messianic territories? Hip-hop already has one Jesus! And he just so happens to be the same guy who pulled Kid Cudi up from obscurity. Is Kid Cudi declaring himself Jesus' hip-hop son?? Hmm... Probably not.

What Kid Cudi definitely is doing is dropping by MTV for an exclusive photo shoot. With the weather getting nicer every day, we're getting closer and closer to the summer release of Kid Cudi's full-length debut, Man On The Moon: The Guardians. All this new sunshine also makes the big beat behind "Day N Nite" sound better by the minute.

Take a look at our exclusive set of new photos of the man with the microphone on his arm before revisiting the incredible "Day N Nite" video, after the jump. Summer is almost here!!!

Welcome back to Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown! Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool invite you to the set of "Know Your Enemy," the first single from their hotly anticipated new album -- their first in five years. The video, which premieres this Friday on MTV.com, was shot in downtown L.A., with eight different cameras, epic visuals, and one loooooong night.

The behind-the-scenes sneak peek below delivers on director Mathew Cullen's -- best known for directing Weezer's meme-packed "Pork And Beans" video -- promise that the star of this video isn't the band so much as it is the music.

Green Day's machine-gun drums and cocky guitar crunch have no trouble filling the bill, thrusting forth from giant, fiery platforms. With the music at center stage, all that was left for Mike, Tre, and Billie Joe was to lean back and do what they do best. For Tre, that may or may not have meant being set on fire. As Mike says in the clip, "It ain't work. It's rock'n'roll."

Watch this behind-the-scenes look at Green Day's "Know Your Enemy" video now, and check back tomorrow for a 30-second preview of the new video.

The first-best part of Kelly Clarkson's new "I Do Not Hook Up" video? The hilarious country club "Mumsy/ Buffy/ Bitsy" send-off AND the guy who loves the strawberries and shoots the raunchy table-clearing scene on his iPhone.

The next-best part of Kelly Clarkson's new video: The AMAZING Balmain crystal studded sandals, which are so mind-blowingly hot that they're like foreplay in the form of embellished strappy heels.

The actual factual Balmain studded heels that Kelly wears in "I Do Not Hook Up" have also graced the famous feet of Rihanna and Audrina Patridge. And they can grace yours for a breezy $1597.92.

Don't have the equivalent of a monthly mortgage laying around?

Well HELLO, Jeffrey Campbell's Balmain-inspired (wink-wink!) "Mel" heel! For the much-more-recession-friendly price of approximately $169, you can grab a highly similar pair, that is IF you can get your hands on them -- they've been going faster than bags of heroin at Pete Doherty's birthday party. You win at life on Whatapair.com if you're a size 6, 8, or 9. Or, check out Solestruck.com, where you can get on their waiting list. Look at you... All on a waiting list.

To be perfectly honest, when they began touring, Friendly Fires were seriously concerned that you Americans were gonna be a standoff-ish, pretentious lot. Happily, they were wrong. In their quest to transport listeners to another world, the British electro wiz kids have danced for plenty of crowds. And America's never hesitated to join in.

Produced completely in their garage, Friendly Fires' self-titled debut is a burbling escapist fantasy. The sort of thing that inspires three grown Brits to undulate like samba dancers on a nightly basis.

In the interview below, Friendly Fires give you a feel for where they're coming from and offers up a free download of their latest single, "Skeleton Boy." Don't miss out on this one!

HOOORAY! I had lunch with the lovely and talented Diana DeGarmo today! We even sat next to each other, and now we're besties and she told me to call her "DD." Okay, the last two parts of that sentence aren't true, but she has the demeanor of a smart and mature BFF (it's hard to believe she's just 21-years-old), and she was absolutely lovely.

Diana was in town to discuss one of her new projects, GetScouted.com -- a talent recruitment site that connects up-and-coming artists, singers, dancers, performers, and designers with talent scouts -- and the musical revue she's in in L.A. right now, Back To Bacharach And David (as in BURT BACHARACH, who's one of my personal idols) -- and how she gets to wear one off Mel B's costumes from Peep Show! Eee!

Since you probably want to know which former American Idol-ers Diana still K.I.T.s with, I made sure to ask! She said she's closest with Kimberley Locke, and she talks to Michael Johns and Matt Rogers a lot and that he just texted her this morning! Cuh-YOOT! She also told a really sweet story about meeting the girl who would become Matt Rogers' wife and telling him immediately that he was going to marry her, which is how she ended up singing in their wedding.

And Diana, who said she's "keeping up" with this season's American Idol, said she's a huge Kara DioGuardifan, and that she supports the new judges-save rule. She also addressed the rumors that Simon Cowell may leave American Idol: "They'll definitely need to find that vinegar" she said, referring to Simon's flair for the vitriolic. Hee. Well put!

Finally, like any celebrity interview these days, the meet-up turned into a Tweet-up. Yes, friends, Diana DeGarmo is on Twitter, AND she Tweeted about our lunch while we eating (as did I). She also told me she Tweeted Perez Hilton, but he hasn't Tweeted her back yet. (Get on that, Perez!)

So, everyone follow @DianaDeGarmo, mkay?

Apparently, the best way to get on MTV is to just show up completely naked at the front door. That's what Matt And Kim did in their "Lessons Learned" video -- just dropped trou' and stood around -- and, lo and behold, now their second Grand single is all up on Buzzworthy! Couldn't be easier!

Are you on your way?!? Just do me a favor, budding bands of America, and remember that showing up in your birthday suit, doesn't necessarily make it your birthday. In other words, dropping by MTV headquarters without any clothes on comes with its consequences. And, as you'll see in the clip below, a little manhandling by the New York City Police Department (Orbach, R.I.P.) is the least of your worries.

Unless you're a pigeon or a singing cowboy, things can get really serious really fast when you strip down in Times Square. For these Brooklyn party punks, public nudity gets to be a ... well, let's call it a life-altering experience. Check it out.

Dookie came out when I was a freshman in high school. Whoa. What a weird sentence. Can I take that back? Or wait. Is that why Green Day decided to call their album Dookie? Because they knew they were too good to be anything but majorly famous -- so famous that one day sentimental music writers everywhere would talk fondly about where they were "when Dookie came out?" Geniuses.

Anyway, I was 14 when Dookie came out and my whole school just about lost its mind. The next day everybody had green hair, tight striped shirts and lip rings. People called Green Day corporate sell-outs. John Lydon from the Sex Pistols called them fakes. But we didn't care. When they come to town, their show got shut down because kids were freaking out and throwing bottles. A girl I knew cracked her head crowd surfing and had to stay home from school for two weeks. It was the coolest thing any of us had ever heard of. Corporate or not, they were so dangerous. Nobody saw socially responsible rock stardom coming for Green Day. They were like psychopaths. Possessed punks.

And then, like all good punks do, they evolved over time from snot-nosed pranksters to spitfire politicians. And like all good businessmen, they got rich and famous in the process. In the 15 years since Dookie came out (I'm gonna keep saying it!), Green Day have made plenty of mischief, but they've also taken on hurricanes, big oil, genocide and George Bush. They're still dangerous, but now it's the world's bad guys who they make nervous, not my friends' parents.

But don't take that to mean that Green Day are going soft! From what we've seen of 21st Century Breakdown, their stance is firmer than ever. Taking cues from Bruce Springsteen, The Who and The Clash, they fuse goading punk ferocity with classic rock integrity, spray-painting their names anew on the wall of rock'n'roll immortality.

Around here, all that's cause for celebration. So here's what we're gonna do. First of all, I've posted a video playlist below called 21st Century Getdown, that covers all the musical highlights of Green Day's jaw-dropping career.

Tomorrow, check back with Buzzworthy for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video for leading 21st Century Breakdown single, "Know Your Enemy."

Come Thursday, we'll have a 30-second sneak peek of the video for the "Know Your Enemy."

And finally, beginning Friday at midnight, we will give you the world premiere of Green Day's "Know Your Enemy" video on Buzzworthy and MTV.com.

THINK CAN YOU HANDLE ALL THAT?!?! WELL YOU'D BETTER GET READY TO TRY. BECAUSE HERE IT COMES.

++ UPDATE: The Jonas Brothers' Lines, Vines And Trying Times album cover was photographed by Matt Albiani. ++

Huge Jonas day yesterday! The Jonas Brothers took to Twitter to reveal the cover art for their next album, Lines Vines And Trying Times, due out June 16.

The album cover photo shoot apparently took place in Corsicana, Texas at Caleb's Diner. While I loved the bright lights/ big city album art for A Little Big Longer a little bit better, the cover of the Jonas Brothers' Lines, Vines And Trying Times album is the perfect portrait of the boys as they cross the bridge of their career from teen musicians to mature multimedia moguls -- in addition to their massive world tour, their Disney TV show, J.O.N.A.S., premieres May 2nd, they're working on the Camp Rock sequel (and don't forget the farting dog movie!), they're launching a Jonas-inspired clothing line, and there's their Jonas Group involvement with Honor Society and Demi Lovato -- gotta support your friends, after all.

Furthermore, the Lines Vines And Trying Times album cover clearly says that this is a more mature musical step in the Jonas Brothers' career. The serious/ no smiles faces, (while attractive, yes), are right in tune with Nick Jonas' statement to Billboard.com, that Lines, Vines And Trying Times is "our journal in songs," mostly about "all things we've gone through, personal experiences we get inspiration from." And that the album is going to be more metaphorical. And does anyone else sense a slightly country-ish/ Americana/ "Car Wheels On A Gravel Road" vibe with the dusty, muted tones here?

Anyway, those are my thoughts on the Lines, Vines And Trying Times album cover. What do you think?
