Christofer Drew, aka Never Shout Never, posted a new photo to his MySpace yesterday afternoon. That's less than 24 hours ago. At last count, the photo had accumulated 3,084 comments (I've had to go back and adjust that number three times since I started writing because it keeps going up). That's just plain mental.

In the photo, Drew stands barefoot on a stool, in a nautical tank top, with his decorated wings spread. He has a peace symbol tattooed on his left foot, but you already knew that. You know because Christofer Drew is a big deal. His Internet popularity is off the charts -- the 283,867 friends and 18,659,515 profile views he's amassed on MySpace have put him among the most buzzed-about bands of 2009. Oh, and his heart-breakingly charming songs don't hurt, either.

What you may not know, is that the MySpace photo that's generating all the comments came from an exclusive MTV shoot with our buddy Brian Appio. Something tells me you might be interested in seeing the rest of the set... Am I right? Why don't you go ahead and do that, and wash it down with a viewing of "Bigcitycreams" below!

Selena Gomez recently revealed the contents of her super-cute closet to WWD and confessed that she's got a bit of a shoe obsession. Selena also copped to her biggest shoe splurge yet: "That would have to be my BCBG wedges. They’re black-and-gray leather with little stones around the wedge. I paid almost $300 for them, but they were a gift to myself, so I was excited to buy them.”

Fueled by Selena's shoe splurge, obsession, and confession, I went on a mission to find the BCBG wedges Selena splurged on. But Selena/ shoe/ Selena shoe fans, I'll be totally honest with you: I failed you, as I could not find Selena's BCBG stone wedges. (Can you sense my shame? It's palpable.)

HOWEVER, I did find another pair of shoes that are so Selena. They're ballet flats from the Rachel Rachel Roy collection they're embellished with adorable bronze pyramid studs, which are SO Fall, and they'll be in select Macy's stores this fall. And, even better news, the Rachel Rachel Roy footwear collection will range from $79 to $199, so, while they're not super-cheapie, they're still definitely less than Selena's BCBG splurge.

As I'm sure you remember, Seattle's This Providence dropped by MTV in February, confessed to being emo, and gave us the scoop on a couple of their songs.

The first was "My Beautiful Rescue," which they described as "a song about falling in love with someone you don’t deserve." The second, "That Girl's A Trick," is "about falling for the wrong girl." Somebody's got a sweet tooth for bad apples... Gotta love tough dudes who get in touch with their feelings.

Anyway, fast forward to now. This Providence were back in our neck of the woods recently, so we hustled them into the studio and gave 'em the third degree. And what do you know? Only two bullet points into their edition of "The 5," they had this to say about "Letdown," the first single from their new record, Who Are You Now:

"Essentially the song is about falling for the wrong girl and finding out the hard way. Being her 'let down.'"

This Providence! Where do you meet all these girls?!? Certainly not backstage! Tell me, groupies, would any of you dare break one of these boys' hearts? I didn't think so!

Bummer lyrics aside, the band calls "Letdown" a feel-good sing-along song to be listened to while driving fast with the windows down (am I crazy, or do you hear a hint of Vince Guaraldi's "Linus And Lucy" in the first bar??). Sign me up for that one. For the rest of the dirt on these handsome, heartbreak-a-day pop-punks, watch This Providence on "The 5," and pick up Who Are You Now, in stores right now.

PROJECT RUNWAY fans! Honest to God, hand to pearls, I met up with the diminutively divine, enormously talented Christian Siriano in Soho earlier this week, and he gave me (and you!) an up-close-and-personal tour of his Christian V Siriano Fall 2009 Ready-to-Wear collection, which was a dark and dreamy moody melange of chocolates and mochas, organzas and angoras, as well as some teals and green satin dresses draped dramatically, as is Christian Siriano's signature, you know? You so know!

Also on display at Christian's preview -- Christian Siriano's Payless shoes, which will hit Payless stores nationwide this August. They're super dramatic, super high, and they'll be super affordable at under $45. (God bless the poor soul who comes between me and the blue-green hieroglyphic booties.) Also, be on the lookout for Christian's Victoria Secret makeup collection, also set to hit stores around August.

With all of those projects (plus a book deal!) in the works, Christian actually managed to find time to show Buzzworthy a few key pieces from his Fall collection. (And he complimented me on my scarf! DEATH!)

Watch Christian Siriano in this exclusive Buzzworthy video, and don't miss Christian doing the thing he does second-best -- critiquing other people's outfits -- when he hits the red carpet before the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Watch the Red Carpet Report With Christian Siriano at movieawards.mtv.com before the show starts Sunday, May 31.

Flo Rida's new video "Sugar" -- the second single off his sophomore album, R.O.O.T.S. -- is finally out. You know it's sweet, you know it's sexy, and you know it takes place on a beach, but here are more five more facts you need to know about Flo Rida's addictive new cut.

1.) "Sugar" was shot on Miami's South Beach by director Shane Drake, who also shot "Elevator," as well as a seemingly unending list of other major videos, including Panic At The Disco's "Nine In The Afternoon" and Paramore's "Decode" video. But before "Sugar," Shane Drake directed another beach video -- Shwayze's "Corona and Lime video."

2.) At both the "Corona And Lime" video shoot and the "Sugar" video shoot, Shane Drake took off his shirt, establishing what's basically a pattern -- Shane Drake shoots a beach video, director Shane Drake takes off his shirt. Got that, ladies?

3.) The girl who sings the hook on "Sugar" is R&B singer-songwriter Wynter Gordon, who's written songs for Danity Kane and Mary J. Blige. *Bonus Style Fact: At around 0:11 into the video, Wynter's shown wearing a white enamel necklace by Lia Sophia. Other Lia Sophia fans include Miley Cyrus (she wore Lia Sophia bracelets on Good Morning America), Stephanie Pratt, Audrina Patridge, and Leven Rambin.

4.) Flo Rida samples the song "Blue (Da Ba Dee)," which was an unlikely hit in 1999 by Italian electro-pop band Eiffel 65. Despite the fact that the song was the audio equivalent of waterboarding, it became a #1 hit in 10 countries and earned a 2001 Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Quite unfortunately, it was also covered by Crazy Frog, which never should've happened.

5.) While it's unclear if Flo Rida's a big Ian McCulloch fan, it's not a stretch to assume that Flo borrowed the line "lips like sugar" from the Echo & The Bunnymen hit of the same name.

So far we know that V Factory's Wesley Quinn thought his prom was kinda just "meh" (despite a late-night pool party), and that the always in-demand Asher Book went to three different proms with three different girls.

Today, V Factory's Nathaniel and Nicky T are sharing their prom stories, and those prom stories involve a black silk tie, an all-white tux, an attempted kidnapping, a busted Holiday Inn, and Coolio.

Unsurprisingly, Nathaniel's prom night was a little blurry.

+ After the jump, watch Nathaniel and Nicky T share their prom memories, watch V Factory rehearse for a “Love Struck” performance, check out photos from their “Love Struck” video shoot, and get more celebrity prom stories.

On their excellent new record, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, Phoenix bend their distinctive sound into familiar but intoxicatingly new shapes. On WAP, following successful forays into soul and lazy glam, they slip back into their most natural groove with a sophisticated set of effortless Parisian dream-pop. Sort of a Lost In Translation vibe, if that makes sense (listen, you'll see).

In an illuminating Dazed interview, the French pop pioneers attribute their re-reinvention to a "spirit of a wide range of styles and opportunities." To best harness this spirit, they wrote the album in a variety of non-musical work spaces, among them a New York City hotel room (in the style of New Wave cinema visionary Francois Truffaut) and a boat (in the style of... Jacques Cousteau? Michael McDonald??).

Whether or not they're on your radar yet, Phoenix (who started out as Air's backing band) are already a sensation. They sell out in hours every time they come through the States. And, with the release of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, the sensation has developed into a full-on frenzy.

They released lead WAP single, "1901," for free on the internet, where it was quickly snapped up by millions. Shortly after that, they implemented the second prong of their world invasion by playing Saturday Night Live. Huge. Now, with the release of their hypnotic and understated "1901" video, they've pretty much officially declared ownership of all music.

I see a lot of videos, obviously, and man, this one is a stunner. Quietly sexy, noir-ish and just outlandishly good.

Watch "1901" below, get the Phoenix fever and drop by the MTV Subterranean Blog to find out where you can hear the rest of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix for free.
