Super-big-deal movie star Shia LaBeouf has been following the career of underground NYC rapper Cage for a long time. In fact, before he hit the big time, LaBeouf used to follow Cage, filming all of his performances, in hopes of one day turning the rhymer's tumultuous life into a movie.

Loaded with jagged ups and downs, Cage's childhood saw multiple suicide attempts, bouts with heroin addiction and institutionalization. But before the dark side of his life completely took hold, Cage discovered hip-hop. With music as an outlet, he channeled his troubles into something positive.

But positive does not necessarily mean sunny. In "I Never Knew You," LaBeouf's directorial debut, darkness is the main character. MTV News describes Cage's single this way: "This is angsty, downright unsettling hip-hop... the kind of intellectual, terrifying horror-core Eminem can only dream of making."

With enormous talent and LaBeouf on his side, Cage is well on his way to making a serious impact on hip-hop. And, although he claims to have no interest in directing full time, this may very well be the first step in a new creative journey for LaBeouf.

Watch as both artists flex their creative muscles in the riveting video for "I Never Knew You."

Call them emo all you want. Undefinable Houston rockers Blue October pride themselves on not holding anything back and could care less if you like it or not. "Get it all out," they say. That's the most important thing.

Just weeks after the release of their fifth studio album, Approaching Normal, Justin (vox, guitar) and Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums), Ryan Delahoussaye (violin, mandolin, piano), C.B. Hudson (guitar), and Matt Noveskey (bass) came by the MTV studios to share five very important things about Blue October and their "bipolar art rock."

It was one stop among many on their endless tour, an experience which allows them to "wake up in a different city [every day] and see the world."

Find out what keeps Blue October going, day after day, in the exclusive MTV Buzzworthy interview below. And if you somehow haven't heard Blue October yet, watch their video for "Say It," after the jump.

Method Man and Redman's Buzzworthy advice interview is coming up soon, but while we finish it up, I thought I'd share what Meth and Red had to say about living clean and staying in shape.

Now, for those of you wondering how you can look right and tight while you just sit there, blissfully sucking down your third bacon double cheeseburger, maybe you're not aware that Method Man and Redman live completely meat-free. Put this way, Method Man and Redman are to vegetarianism what, let's say, Kanye West is to being a total crybaby. So here are a few tips, courtesy of Method Man and Redman, for going vegetarian:

+ Hit up Whole Foods -- Method Man's a big proponent of the healthy chain's many ready-to-go offerings. Method Man was also quick to call out their fake-meat crumbles and veggie burger selections.

+ Go green: Method Man's all about edamame and emphasized its skin purifying qualities. (I had no idea!)

+ No McDonald's -- Redman's tip for losing weight. (Also a key to being a vegetarian, obviously. Though I hear their iced coffee's the jam.)

Method and Redman answered fitness questions, and Method revealed that Redman, at his absolute fittest, can do 200 pull-ups (!!!). Coming from someone who can't even fake that, like, dead-hang thing, that blew my mind.

Stay tuned for Method Man and Redman's full-length Buzzworthy advice video to get their expert opinions on office flirtation, pursuing shy dudes, quiche, the Mexican Jonas Brothers, and white people using the term "ballin'." (Spoiler: don't.) Now go listen to Blackout 2, and watch your back, Big Breakfast.

V Factory's Asher Book went to not one, not two, but THREE proms. And he even got asked to senior prom by a senior when he was just a sophomore, winning him the coveted position of "that guy" who got to go to senior prom when all the other underclassmen had to stay home and watch crap on TV.

+ After the jump, find out who Asher Book went to prom(s) with and what he wore (we'll forgive him for not wearing a bow tie), watch V Factory rehearse for a "Love Struck" performance, check out photos from the "Love Struck" video shoot, and get more celebrity prom stories.

Maxwell Drummey and D.A. Wallach -- AKA Chester French of "She Loves Everybody"/"Jimmy Choos," Pharrell, Kanye and Harvard fame -- shared their prom memories, and they're simultaneously the funniest and most depressingly unromantic prom tales probably in the entire history of prom-going.

With Chester French's prom tales, you get and unambiguous mix of:

+ Total and inexplicable nudity

+ A discussion of the economics of prom

+  An As Hard As They Come reference

+ Pinch-hitting for psycho boyfriends

+ Bow ties

+ Various Rachels

... Plus confusion on absolute grandiose levels, Abba, and ODB. In sum, Taking Back Sunday's Matt Rubano, who referred to the magical night as a "crapfest," and Chester French -- Maxwell Drummey especially, agreed.

+ Watch Chester French discuss prom after the jump, and get more celebrity prom stories.

Congratulazioni, Tokio Hotel! Your favorite German band won Best TRL Artist Of The Year at the MTV Italy 2009 TRL Awards in Trieste this past weekend.

Tokio Hotel beat out the Jonas Brothers (sniff!), Sonohra, Marco Carta, and hometown heroes Lost (the band, not the TV show) to win Best TRL Artist Of The Year. No, Tokio Hotel wasn't on hand to accept the award (are you kidding? Do you really not think I wouldn't have been WALLPAPERING Buzzworthy with new Tokio Hotel photos if the guys were there in person?), but Bill Kaulitz himself, wearing a beanie with just a few dreads peeking out and looking decidedly pixie-like (though definitely different from the look that inspired the Bill Kaulitz Buzzworthy makeover), sent a pre-recorded message. In English! With hints of Italian! Your boy speaks like EVERY language!)

Read Bill Kaulitz's acceptance speech for the Best TRL Artist Of The Year Award -- it's no giant Premios tongue, or rollin' deep in a monster truck (loud and dangerous wins the race!), but it'll certainly do.

+ Plus: Check out Tokio Hotel's H&M Fashion Against AIDS t-shirt. And, can you BELIEVE Bill made Buzzworthy's glammest guys list?

In case you somehow still need more reasons to tune into the Internet's best new show, I've compiled $5 Cover's steamiest scenes to give you a taste of just how far director Craig Brewer is willing to push the envelope. Clearly we're too classy enough (right, Tila?!) to broadcast all-out porn, but the Hustle & Flow director so expertly wields the power of suggestion, that at times it's even hotter than the real thing.

1. A New Drummer: Bass Master
$5 Cover's very first scene catches blues whisperer Amy LaVere in the act, doing a fearsome sans-pants tango with her stand-up bass. Scene 1! Memphis doesn't waste any time.

2. A New Drummer: Bed-Hopping
Minutes after Amy's private band practice sesh comes to an end, we meet her buddy Clare Grant, who's also lost her pants. But Clare's not wrestling an instrument. She's rolling around with Amy's boyfriend. Well, that is, until Amy walks in.

3. Head Change: Clare & Present Danger
After a spirited parking lot pep talk, Memphis rap clown Muck Sticky and kinky Clare take to the stage with an act that includes semi-nude S&M antics. Blame it on the Memphis heat!

4. Memphis Drama: Valerie's Secret
Valerie June is as cool and mellow as $5 Cover characters come. The drawling, dreadlocked singer-songwriter provides frequent easygoing comic relief. But there's no relief from Valerie's breakfast attire in Episode 3, which leaves nothing to the imagination!

5: Things to come...
Believe it or not, $5 Cover's steamiest clips are still yet to come! The new episodes premiering on MTV every Friday include new lovers, a heartbreak, a heart attack and a very physical reunion between Clare Grant and Lucero singer Ben Nichols. If you think your heart rate's up for all that action, check out new episodes of $5 Cover, and get more behind-the-scenes looks at $5 Cover on the $5 Cover blog.

It's not football season, but Ace Hood's ready for some football, and let me tell you, people, "Overtime"'s not just about football. That's just a metaphor. A metaphor for total effing balls-to-the-wall hustling and not just sitting around on your ass and expecting those paper stacks to walk their way into your bank account while you sit around and play Xbox. (Unless you're already famous, in which case, you can totally sit around and play XBox while you accumulate bills.)

"Overtime" chronicles the unbridled, unfettered, hustle-'til-it-hurts grind and determination it takes to make the team -- whether it's JV or the pros. And if you're familiar with Ace Hood's own story, then you know that injury kept him from going pro, and fearless hustle got his music into DJ Khaled's hands. And the rest is history -- and the reason you're watching Ace Hood's latest video, starring Akon, a hatless T-Pain, and DJ Khaled. Directed by Gil Green (Lil Wayne's "Lollipop," Akon's "Beautiful" video), "Overtime" was shot at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School in Hollywood, Florida and features some of the school's actual football players in the video.

Watch it. Do work.

First of all, we cannot mention Chrisette Michele without congratulating her on her #1 album -- Epiphany debuted at the top spot of the Billboard 200 last week. Not too shabby for passing on "Irreplaceable." But you know what was shabby? The shady pizza joint Chrisette and her date hit up after prom.

Watch Chrisette Michele share her prom memories, and find out what happened in the back of that limo she and her date took into New York City after prom.  Plus, watch her "Epiphany" video after the jump, and get more Buzzworthy celebrity prom stories.
