I have a special place in my heart devoted to high-energy, melody-driven rock songs -- and for mustachioed hipsters in cut-off jeans -- and Florida export Fallbrooke set up shop in my happy little heart the minute I watched their "Losin' It" video.

There are many reasons I'm obsessed with "Losin' It," and some of those reasons don't even involve chest hair, though it's certainly a plus. Top of the list -- an appearance by the sexy (though chaperoned), Mandy Jiroux -- as in, "Manders," Miley Cyrus' bestie and partner in vlogging and going to Starbucks.

"Losin' It" is based on a real-life online omance/frustration, so it was totally apropos to recruit Manders, who gives great video, for the Web-themed video. I'd even tell Schmanders to stick with her Web-cam niche had she not already branched out into girl group territory. P.S. Mandy's group, The Beach Girl5, shared recording space with Fallbrooke (signed to RMR Music Group), a proximity that led to an encounter and subsequent gig.

Overall I heart Fallbrooke for its good-boy rocker vibe, as well as for Eric's strong vocals, showcased in my favorite Fallbroke song, "Can't Have You". Seriously, if the "Losin' It" video doesn't charm you, check out Fallbrooke's MySpace for "Can't Have You" and the boys' (pretty adorable, though not completely current) vlogs.

From watching this exclusive 30-second clip of Cobra Starship's new "Good Girls Go Bad" video, featuring Leighton Meester, it's pretty clear that if the whole band thing doesn't pan out, Cobra has a bright future in deli work and/or sandwich artistry. Leighton obviously has a future in being ridiculously hot.

Girl, you look so nice, Sean Paul said it twice... er... like, 20 times. In his brand-new video, "So Fine," dancehall crossover kingpin Sean Paul cashes in on one of his most marketable selling points -- his ability to say the same thing over and over and over again and, as if by magic, make the act of repetition not annoying but somehow, hypnotically mesmerizing. Dude should bottle and sell that juice. Oh wait -- he has: Sean Paul's sold over 11 million albums worldwide.

His highly anticipated next album, Imperial Blaze, is due out August 18, 2009, with "So Fine" as its official first single. Check out the equally mesmerizing, ultra-'80s-inspired video, "So Fine," directed by Ray Kay (Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" and LMFAO "I'm In Miami, Trick") before Imperial Blaze drops.

Tons of you have been Tweeting about how much you love Alexa Chung's style, so here are some Alexa-inspired pieces.

Alexa's beige and black two-strap Mary Janes were completely-off-the-charts worshipful. But for those of us not on a Chanel budget, check out these three-tone black, beige and grey cutout Pour La Victoire (Ashley Tisdale's a fan of the brand) platforms. They're $197.15 on Endless.com.

Finally, get at some Paige Premium Denim for SUPER skinny dark jeans like Alexa's. Selena Gomez, Lauren Conrad, and Gwen Stefani are all Paige fans too, and Demi was wearing a pair on today's show as well. Check out the Skyline skinnies for $168. They're super skinny but surprisingly stretchy and perfect for tucking into boots (rain boots, as the case may be) or with heels or ballet flats.

When you first saw that Jessie James was opening for the Jonas Brothers, were you also like "WHY must I endure a motorcycle demo by the stony, tattooed Mr. Sandra Bullock while waiting to see the Jonas Brothers?" Was anyone else surprised to discover that this Jessie James is a five-foot, X-tina-gone-country knock-out. (And, yes, this 21-year-old singer is a JessIE, unlike the Celebrity Apprentice contestant or the Wild West bank robber.)

But how did this self-proclaimed Army brat from Georgia score an opening gig on the Jonas Brother's summer tour? Here are five good reasons Jessie James should be on -- and stay on -- your radar.

1. The Girl Actually Writes Her Own Music And Actually Hustles
Jessie gets respect not just for co-writing tracks on her debut album (which comes out July 28), which includes the Carrie-Underwood-would-cut-a-b+tch-for-this number "Wanted," co-written by Kara DioGuardi (the OTHER Idol judge!). But Jessie's also been hard at work on a radio station tour... albeit a kinda D-list one, but that's how you make it, girl...

Jessie is an immediately competent singer (even in a T-shirt and Uggs), and as a career woman she's hungry; look for another single, "Bullet," co-written by one Katy Perry, on Jessie's horizon ... Wait, did Kelly Clarkson just call?

2. She's Hybrid Country
I need a chaser with my country music, and Jessie's sultry, Aguilera-esque belt goes beyond Reba and into dance and hip-hop territory, a hybrid Jessie lovingly dubs "hick-hop" (not kidding). Listen to "Blue Jeans" -- it was in Confessions of a Shopaholic, if it sounds familiar -- for some surprising funk... and fun zipper sound effects.

3. She's Got an Edge, And a Healthy Ego
She may not tune up motorcycles like Mr. Bullock, but Jessie has an intense Megan Fox moment in her "Wanted" music video. Someone turn the hose on her! Jessie also posed for a bomb spread in Maxim and admits she cleans her house "nekkid." Always on time for Sunday church, though!

Jessie will also be the first to tell you how talented she is -- and that "when she blows up," she'll be getting those "Blue Jeans" for free! Hey, it takes a certain confidence to pitch your songs to L.A. Reid as a teenager,  so again, don't hate her for hustling, because that's how you end hanging out backstage with Nick, Kevin, and Joe.

Beauty, brains, and a mean belt. And she's friends with the Jonas Brothers. Wait... I'm talking about DEMI, YOU GUYS! NOT ME! JK.
