For those with aspirations of running for "hip-hop office," take a lesson from Tech N9ne, who's been shaking hands and kissing babies since his presidential campaign began in the late '90s. The rewards and sacrifices of politicking (i.e. touring), are quite familiar to the Kansas City rapper and owner of label Strange Music, a trade-off he discusses with the MTV Buzzworthy Blog in his "The 5" interview below.
And respect, because Tech N9ne has his priorities locked: his work and his son come first, along with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Italian food. And Jordans. Not cars. Jordans.
Check the video below, and you'll also hear about Tech N9ne's tenth (!!!) studio album, K.O.D., his collaboration with Krayzie Bone, and his part in the 2009 Rock The Bells Tour.
