I've been privy to a bit of private info about the 2009 MTV VMAs, but a makeout session between VMA presenter Katy Perry and VMA performer Pink isn't in the script... YET. But it looks like no one told Russell Brand. Fortunately, there's still time to make that work before the VMAs happen live on Sunday, September 13.
Plus, far more outlandish things have happened at VMAs past -- like the first-ever VMAs in 1984, when Madonna humped the stage at Radio City Music Hall (welcome back, MTV!), or the time Grandma Madonna kissed Britney. And Christina Aguilera. Or when Diana Ross grabbed Li'l Kim's "boob" back in 1999.
+ Watch 2009 VMA host Russell Brand dance around like a cheeky chimney sweep in his "VMA Side Story" "Tonight" promo.

I know that Tom Kaulitz's black cornrow braids aren't exactly new news -- he's been rockin' the 'rows since early 2009, right? (And if not, Tokio Hotel fans, I KNOW you'll correct me quicker than you can say "Trümper." Which is why I love you...)
... But back to Tom Kaulitz's hair. In Tokio Hotel's promo photo for their new single, "Automatic," Tom's cornrows are seriously... SERIOUS... They're black like BOLDFACE black, and I can only wonder if Tom's been getting hair help from R. Kelly. Why? BECAUSE HIS HAIR LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE R. KELLY'S! (Except Tom's hair is more awesome because it grew out of Tom's head. I mean, obviously.)
+ Wanna braid Tom Kaulitz's hair? Watch Mario's video, "Braid My Hair," and see how that works. And tell me what you think of all of Tokio Hotel's new looks!

Taylor Swift could've chose ANY song -- A Billy Currington song, The Summer Set, Keith Urban, something by Tim McGraw -- for her brand-new video tour diary. But Taylor Swift clearly ADORES Justin Bieber as much as we do over here at Camp Buzzworthy.
Watch Taylor Swift's new tour diary video -- make heart hands every time you see a cameo (Demi Lovato, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift's mom, Brooks & Dunn guy) -- set to Justin Bieber's "One Time," which Taylor's obviously a fan of too. And check out brand-new MTV photos of Justin Bieber, and OF COURSE, watch Taylor Swift's "VMA Side Story" video!
Your world is my world.

The simultaneously reviled and revered Perez Hilton was on today's episode of It's On With Alexa Chung, and I wouldn't be doing my fashionly fact-finding duties without giving you the goods on the Lady Gaga Lady Liberty t-shirt that Perez wore and several of you have Tweeted me about already! (You're fast!)
Perez's Warhol-inspired Lady Gaga t-shirt is $25 (or probably free if you're The P'rez) and is available on Lady Gaga's official online store.

+ Bonus: Wanna shop the Haus of Gaga?

WHAT is Justin Bieber thinking in this photo? Probably "HOW am I SO flippin' Archuletally adorbulent?" Or maybe... "How am I already so much cooler than Aaron Carter was at my age?"
And in the photo below, 15-year-old Justin Bieber is CLEARLY showing off the defensive moves used in his wolf pack, which includes Usher. (No idea what that means? Watch Justin's MTV interview to see how he and Usher got together in the first place.)

Check out more brand-new photos of Justin Bieber after the jump, and check out the whole gallery here.

+ Slightly weird megastar Celine Dion is pregnant again at the age of 41. Talk about taking chances! (Bitten & Bound)
+ Our girl Britney Spears is starting back up on her Circus tour (woohoo!) and is making a special appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman. No doubt she will dazzle and amaze legions of fans worldwide as she <deep breath> reads the Top 10 list. Strong Britney! (US Magazine)
+ Kelly Clarkson and Joe Jonas plan to be celebrity judges on an upcoming episode of American Idol. Should be pretty cool for Kelly to be sitting next to fellow judge and songwriter extraordinaire Kara DioGuardi (who's penned several of her hits including the most recent"I Do Not Hook Up"). (PopCrunch)
+ Who's ready for a new Radiohead single? We are, too. You're welcome. (The Tripwire)
+ Bet there are two things that you don't know about pop star Selena Gomez (and reigning Queen of Disney). (Blogamole)
+ As a little girl, Buzzcrush Katy Perry prayed to the Lord for big boobies, and boy did He answer her prayers. In fact, Katy talks an awful lot about her boobies most days, but we're not mad at it. Or her. Or them. (Socialite Life)

... And I just fell in love with Taking Back Sunday ALL over again after watching them perform "Where My Mouth Is" from yesterday's episode of It's On With Alexa Chung.
"Where My Mouth Is" was already one of my favorite songs off of Taking Back Sunday's latest album, New Again, but seeing them perform it live, it sounds more raw, layered, and pensive, and takes on an even richer meaning.
+ Watch "Where My Mouth Is," live from It's On With Alexa Chung, now:

Justin Timberlake may not be bringing "Sexy Back" back any time soon (he retired the song, remember?), but he's obviously bringing his own sexy back in these NOT-AT-ALL unattractive campaign stills from his just-released Givenchy men's fragrances, "Play," and "Play Intense." (Sorry, but that joke was BEGGING to be made.)
I, for one, was SO SICK of seeing photo after photo of Justin Timberlake in those nerd-herd glasses that Kanye was wearing when he went Pee Wee. Now I just wanna jump up and shout HALLELUJAH and wave my hands in the air, because Justin looks HAWT again, in a very Tom Wolfe-meets-Tom Ford summer suit.
After the jump, check out more photos of Justin Timberlake -- he's not just the famous name attached to "Play" and "Play Intense" (when regular "Play" simply WILL NOT DO!), he's also the model. The campaign images of Justin were shot by photographer Tom Murno, and the fragrance itself apparently smells like hot Caribbean dudes and looks like a bootleg MP3 player.
Hot new photos of Justin Timberlake will be all over your favorite scented magazine this fall. Yay! And if you can't wait that long, you can get "Play" at Macy's. (GET IT?) And speaking of, this fall, sexy has a new smell, and it's sittin' in a wingback chair...

San Diego five-piece Lights On just wrapped up a mini tour in Brooklyn -- their first visit as a group -- and just released the five-song EP, Waiting For The Heart To Beat. And if you ONLY have time for one track, it'd be "John and Anne," which is easily download-able with a little power of positive Googling (or just follow that link to Lights On's MySpace). With lyrics "Dear John," I figure the track would be breakup-centric, but "John and Anne" is more a plea for salvation.
Lights On's sound: You could almost compare them to The Stars; the package comes off quite retro, with dulled vocals that evocative of a grainy recording. There's also a little of The Raveonettes in there, but way toned down -- like someone grabbed the clanky-electronic-cacophony dial and turned it to medium-low. And there's a little of that Peter, Bjorn, And John a-haunting in there too. My only issue: HOW can I keep straight Lights, Hit The Lights, Francis And The Lights, and Lights On? Thankfully I have room -- and now love -- enough for all.
