Mayday Parade's new video, "The Silence," follows the separate paths of a woman on the edge of a nervous breakdown, wandering and crying her way through the desert, with clips of the band performing in an abandoned trailer park.
There's some pretty special near-crabcore stage moves (note the wrapping of the mic chord around the forearm, pre-chorus, by singer Derek Sanders) being pulled off inside of a hot air balloon... a hot air balloon that the woman, despite having a broken heart and shaking hands, eventually pilots to nowhere in particular. It would seem that a broken heart and shaking hands are not a recipe for top-notch navigation skills.
