This new video for Buzzworthy heroes' We The Kings' song, "Heaven Can Wait" -- the first track from their Smile, Kid album -- is clearly a dream sequence. Now, there are no squiggly lines, there's no soft focus, and there's no eerie music. But anyone who's ever either accidentally flipped the channel to the Westminster Dog Show can attest: NOBODY THIS COOL IS EVER AT A DOG SHOW.
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there's a whole underground circuit of hipster dog shows, with ironic farmers entering goats into competition and beautiful women watching the proceedings with bated breath. Maybe there's a New York TImes Sunday Styles trend piece on this very thing in the works right now.
But I still think it's a dream sequence.
