The Woodies are coming -- mtvU's annual campus-friendly award show will air on MTV, MTV2, mtvU and Palladia on Friday, December 4, at 10 pm.

This is a truly democratic affair in which you can have a real say in who goes home with the wood. That's right, you can vote for the winners in the major categories.

To sweeten the pot to honey-levels of sweetness, the Woodies performers have just been announced. Let's get familiar shall we?

All the performers are also nominees for Video Woodie (best video, basically). First, we got the skronk-garage blues of The Dead Weather. Jack White's other, other band is nominated for their NRA-fever-dream of a clip for, "Treat Me Like Your Mother."

Then you've got some lilting, some chiming, some longing, some Death Cab For Cutie. DCFC are nominated for their video for "Grapevine Fires."

But they'll be performing their single from the New Moon soundtrack, "Meet Me At The Equinox."

And last, but least clothed, we have Matt and Kim, who will be performing their strip-tease anthem, "Lessons Learned." Will they do it in their birthday suits? You'll have to check it out to see.

Yesterday, when writing about AFI's personable appearance on "The 5" I remarked about how friendly and un-goth the dudes in AFI came off.

In this exclusive set of MTV photos the boys split the difference between their personas and their personalities. Yeah, there's a certain darkness to 'em, but they also seem like some normal, everyday rock dudes. Maybe it's Davey Havok's fuchsia shirt? Drummer Adam Carson's friendly facial expression? I don't know. Or maybe it's just the lack of eyeliner.

Over the last few days we've shown you some clips from the MTV Ululame Festival -- a Halloween-themed music fest featuring the likes of Paramore, AFI and Kid Cudi -- as well as some interview clips with the cast of New Moon, all taken from the MTV special "Ululame: Howling At New Moon." Well, call us too generous if you want, but here's some more goodies.

In the below clip we talk to New Moonies about their favorite and least favorite Halloween candy. Watch Elizabeth Reaser recall being saddled with apples and soup (!?) during her rural Michigan youth! Listen to Nikki Reed decry sour candy! Gasp as Ashley Greene puts the smack down on candy corn.

Be sure to spend your Halloween eve with your full attention focused on the MTV special, "Ulalume: Howling At New Moon," (which airs on Friday, October 30 at 9 PM ET) for a brand-new New Moon clip and performances by Paramore, AFI, Dead by Sunrise featuring Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, and Kid Cudi.

STOP what you're doing because whatever you're doing is NOWHERE NEAR as important as the precious time you're about to spend or already have spent staring slack-jawed at the glorious artistic masterpiece that is Adam Lambert's just-released For Your Entertainment album cover.

Reactions to Adam Lambert's For Your Entertaiment cover art have ranged from Very Bowie to fan art gone wild to the resurrection of Jem And The Holograms to "gayer than anything man can conceive of."

To be sure, Adam Lambert is fully in on the joke -- he just Tweeted: "Thank you to those who appreciate and understand that the album cover is deliberately campy. It's an omage to the past. It IS ridiculous." (Except homage is spelled with an "h." Oh well. He's got singing going for him.)

Anyway, I LOVE ridiculous. I LIVE by ridiculous. And I love that the art direction for For Your Entertainment was basically like "Um, so, let's take Prince's Purple Rain album art, Rihanna's Rated R cover art, and Steel Panther's Death To All But Metal cover art, add Kate Gosselin's wig but spray paint it blue, mkay? But let's ALSO paint Adam's nails black too, because that's always symbolically dark." I also love that it looks like the kind of mural you'd see airbrushed onto the wall of a crumbling skating rink. The only thing that truly makes no sense is the budget-looking font used for Adam Lambert's name. I think my accountant uses the same font. Boring! MOAR SPARKLES PLZE!

Therefore, embracing all that is fantastically fun about camp, and admitting that it's great to worship at the altar of glam and Glambert, here's how YOU can get Adam Lambert's For Your Entertainment album art look! JUST in time for Halloween!

+ NEON YELLOW/ GREEN EYESHADOW: Try Bloody Mary's Neon Yellow eyeshadow. Apply liberally to corner of eyes after making cat-eyes with hardcore amounts of black eyeliner. The more the better. Then make a sullen but beautiful pouty face. (Watch Tidal-era Fiona Apple videos for inspo.)

+ SHEER PINK LIPSTICK: I believe "baby pink" is the look Adam's going for. NARS' Roman Holiday completes the pretty picture, no? And so appropriately titled!

+ KATE GOSSELIN WIG: I mean, that's exactly what's going on here. Get a Kate Gosselin wig, some blue spray paint, and then spray the f+++ out of it.

+ SPARKLY STAR GLITTER: Because you've already come this far. Makeup For Ever's star glitter was pretty much invented for Glambert.

+ RAZOR: All excess body hair was shed for this shoot. Do it like you mean it. Because it's time for miracles, y'all.

Just yesterday we were learning about P.O.S.'s childhood romps through Minneapolis neighborhoods, braving blizzards to take in record candy hauls. Well, today we have something a little less candy-corny, though much more chilling than anything the Minny emcee/producer/singer discussed in his "Halloween Horrors" interview.

Here we have a 30-second sneak peak at P.O.S.'s forthcoming "Never Better" vid (taken from his album of the same name). And if the bone rattling beat doesn't freak you out a little, the shaky, hand-held camerawork, masks and hounds of hell certainly will.

And don't miss the MTV premiere of P.O.S.'s "Never Better" tomorrow.

I know that this is supposed to be an interview with Shwayze and you're watching it and you're saying, 'I see Shwayze, singer/emcee, performer of the summer breeze of song "Buzzin'." But who invited the Doobie Brothers roadie?'

Well, that's Cisco Adler, who you may remember from such hits as, "I Dated Mischa Barton" or "I Dated Lauren Conrad" or perhaps most notably, "I Am Most Notable For Having Some Naked Pictures Of Myself Wind Up On The Internet."

In truth, Shwayze is both one dude's name and the name of a group (or project) that encompasses said dude and Adler. So...they're like PJ Harvey, I guess.

Cisco and Shwayze are gathered to talk candy, frights and Fall; that's right, it's another episode of "Halloween Horrors." Adler recalls the rough streets of his Hawaii youth while Shwayze admits to being something of a Reese's thief.

Check out more MTV Halloween Horrors here.

Looking for the perfect pretty odd accessory to wear with your Where The Wild Things Are hairy leggings? (So glad I'm not alone!)

Designers Eve Cahill and Anna Rybakov started DIYing jewelry, which begat Grau Wal, their weirdly wonderful collection of synthetic hair braided into necklaces and bracelets in varying hair colors. It's both beastly and beautiful Halloween-worthy freak fashion at its finest.

Would you wear jewelry made out of hair? (Food for thought: You're totally in luck if you pop an extension.) Plus, wanna own a piece of Lady Gaga's hair?

UPDATE (Wednesday 10/28/2009): The Jonas Brothers themselves took to Myspace yesterday to assuage the fears of zillions of JB fans and assure everyone that Nick Jonas' solo project does not mean the end of the Jonas Brothers. I repeat, the Jonas Brothers are NOT breaking up. They're just branching out.

Here's what the Jonas Brothers' told us on Myspace last night after Nick Jonas' solo project announcement quickly snowballed into break-up rumors:

WE ARE NOT BREAKING UP

#1 – The Jonas Brothers are NOT breaking up!

#2 – Nick Jonas IS working on a side project called

Nick Jonas & The Administration

#3 – This project will be released early in 2010

#4 - We are ALL excited about this project AND what we are doing TOGETHER!

#5 – We plan to make music together for as long as we can...

About 6 months ago, the three of us had a 2 week break from touring, and we all decided to go and do something that was on our hearts.  Joe went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand.  Kevin spent some time with his fiancé Danielle.  I decided to go to Nashville, TN to make a side project (Nick Jonas & The Administration) with 4 musicians - guys that I had met and worked with before.  If I was to describe the sound to someone… I would say its “heart & soul”, because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul.

We’ve said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can’t break up brothers.  My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me every day while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn’t wait to hear the record.

My brothers and I couldn’t be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour AS THE JONAS BROTHERS next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans.

Tuesday, October 27
+ Shirt: J. Crew

We've already seen how hardcore you Tokio Hotel fans can be for just a touch -- nay, a glimpse! -- of Bill, Tom, Gustav, and/or Georg. Case in point: Their live performance of "Automatic" on It's On With Alexa Chung on MTV, where fans practically had to be restrained from rushing the stage.

So what would Tokio Hotel do if they could somehow go incognito for just a day and manage not to be recognized? Bill Kaulitz would take his family and friends and do "normal things" like shop and get ice cream. And Tom Kaulitz would go to an amusement park. (Again!) Wee!

Plus, see how Tokio Hotel juggles vegetarianism with their love for burgers, AND the burning question, WHAT DOES BILL KAULITZ SMELL LIKE is answered... kinda... in this brand-new Buzzworthy interview with Tokio Hotel!
