New Interview: U-N-I On Car Crashes, Merchandising And The 'Annie' Soundtrack

In this fresh-off-the-digital-presses interview that we like to call "The 5," California rap duo U-N-I, who specialize in a modern take on early-'90s Tribe Called Quest-style hip-hop,  break down a few things, which I will in turn break down for you.

Y-O talks about a life-changing, near-death experience when his Volkswagen met a street lamp. Thurzday talks about their new Green Label Sound single, "Land Of Kings," and the line of merchandise they've created to help promote it (including the old-school baseball hat in L.A. Lakers colors he rocks in the interview).

Other topics covered include Thurzday's daughter's obsession with the soundtrack to Annie, and the duo's reliance on Ramen noodles while they're on tour.
