Sharam is mostly known for his epic, atmospheric and romantic trance tracks that he makes as one half of the duo Deep Dish. But for his debut solo album, Get Wild, the Iranian-American producer decided to stretch out a bit.
Take "She Came Along," a charming, mid-tempo track, featuring the relaxed rhymes of Kid Cudi, which combines Nancy-Sinatra-esque torch singing with the kind of pastiche-pop production that catapulted Cornershop to celebrity (albeit brief.)
The "She Came Along" video, which Sharam also directed, is a little bit Spaghetti Western meets Blaxploitation, with an Afro-sporting kid version of Cudi rapping while shoot-outs and quick-draws go down all around.
Check out the video below, and pick up Get Wild, which was released back in March and features vocal contributions from Cudi and Chuck D., as well as a more rhythmic appearance from Tommy Lee.
