Found via that treasure chest of Internet insanity also known as Buzzfeed, here is some footage of what looks like a 1970s French variety show. After what looks like some amiable back and forth between two hosts, we get on a Chunnel train to Crazy Town.
Basically what follows is a disco take on the Mos Eisley canteen band theme from Star Wars (the first one... the real first one) rendered as a disco jam. That's funny. But the dancing C-3POs and Darth Vaders make this thing one of the more bizarre Web gems I've seen in quite some time. It's real; not some faux-vintage Spike Jonze vid. Just some straight-up afternoon WTF-age for you.
