Guys, rap music is in the building. For all the units shifted and plaudits recieved, nobody will deny that Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 marked something of a departure from the attitude-soak street raps that made him a national treasure.
Now, with his turn on this must-have remix of Snoop Dogg's don't-call-it-a-comeback single, "I Wanna Rock," we return to the life and times of Sean Carter.
After Snoop ad-lib's, "they say you can't spell the west without the e-s," these two coastal titans and rap icons go to town. Jay claims "dope lyrics" are the only things he slings now, and he ain't kidding.
A fantastic cut; probably the best rap single of the young year. Get to rockin', people.
