Zack Weber is a Brooklyn singer-songwriter by way of St. Louis. Getting an early jump on the music game, Zack's been writing, recording and performing since he was a teenager.
One fortuitous night, a producer and associate of John Mayer spotted Weber playing with a band and invited him to play some solo shows opening up for the "Who Says" singer. Since then he's been touring relentlessly, spreading his feel-good, sun-kissed folk rock around the country, as well as recording and releasing a debut album in 2007, Daydreams And Day Jobs.
In this exclusive MTV Iggy interview, Weber talks about his artistic familial background, the chemistry he found with his current band (who've been playing together for three years), the joy and pain of touring life, and more than a few jokes about his good looks.
Check out the interview as well as an exclusive performance of his song, "Heebie Jeebies," courtesy of MTV Iggy, below. Daydreams And Day Jobs is currently in stores, and you can catch up with Zack Weber's relentless touring schedule here.
