Cover your eyes, Justin Bieber. You may be Ludacris' lil' man and all that, but I don't think you're ready for this jelly.
Returning to the spotlight (and out of Bieber's mighty shadow) with his first single from Ludaversal, Ludacris and director Dave Meyers get real zeitgeist-y in this video for "How Low."
"How Low" calls to mind the phenomenal success of last year's D.I.Y. horror hit, Paranormal Activity, and the trend that will never, ever die: dancing to your favorite songs on YouTube.
"How Low" concerns a couple of girls who, upon learning that "if you go low enough" Ludacris will appear in the mirror, dance to the mouth of the South's newest jam (in their finest boudoir-friendly attire, natch). Then, well, things just go off from there.
"How Low" recalls the manic, visually playful, incredibly fun tone of early Luda clips like "Get Back" (the one where he has big hands) and "Southern Hospitality" (the one where he raps upside down).
Ludaversal is due out later this year.
