In his new Yolande Geralds-helmed video, "Medicine," Florida MC Plies plays a doctor. Is this a commentary on our current economic climate where many are taking on extra work to make ends meet? Or is this "Medicine" (the follow-up single to "Becky," taken from Plies' upcoming Goon Affiliated album) video about how we all need to give back, help the less fortunate, and put community over the individual?

No. None of the above. He is Dr. Goon. He is here to "keep ya up all night" like "Nodoze." Get it?

Not sure whose attire flies more in the face of American Medical Association rules and regulations, Plies' fitted and gold chains, or Keri Hilson (who sings the hook, "Shawty, I'm your insulin") rocking fur and a bustier.

While the hospital Plies and Hilson work in certainly doesn't inspire confidence, it does look like a fun place to visit. And really, when you think about it, are Plies and Keri Hilson being any more unprofessional than the navel-gazers on Grey's Anatomy who worry more about their love lives than your ruptured appendix? I didn't think so.

Witness The Friday Night Boys' video for "Stupid Love Letter" (culled from the When In Rome soundtrack, which also features Katy Perry and The Academy Is...) where it's abundantly clear that all is fair in love and war, even if you're in a band together.

The Steve Jocz-directed clip for this synth-heavy ditty takes place at a screening for the Josh Duhamel/Kristen Bell rom-com, When In Rome. Singer Andrew Goldstein brings his date to the movies (as you do). But no sooner can the Inconsiderate Cell Phone Man PSA air, and his bandmates are circling his lady like vultures.

They flex their abs and try out some dance moves, all while Goldstein is mobbed by fans at the concession stand. I'd like to tell you that everything ends up okay, but I'd also like to tell you that you won a million dollars. Both lies! There's a big fight and tears before bedtime.

Check out the fisticuffs below in Friday Night Boys' brand-new video, "Stupid Love Letter."

Earlier this week we introduced you to the lads of Big Time Rush, the boy band behind the new Nick show of the same name. You can check out our previous post to learn a little about the guys and their musical influences, but we also went much farther than that with Big Time Rush getting to the real nitty gritty.

How nitty gritty? iCarly-levels of nitty gritty. As we delved deeper with the boys, we found a little about life B.B.T.R. (Before Big Time Rush). Like, for instance, James played Shane, the nerdy bro of iCarly's technically savvy friend Freddie Benson, on season two of the wildly popular, web-centric Nick show.

But there's more! Did you know Carlos appeared in both advertisements for and on the boxes of Supersoaker water guns? True story! Now, I did a little personal research and did not spot Carlos in the classic 1991 Supersoaker ad (remember the line, "Oh, Bufffffy"?), but that's not to say there weren't others. If you come across any then, by all means, let us know!

The next episode of Big Time Rush airs tonight at 8:30 pm on Nick.

Chances are if you're a music fan, you know that former Fugees Wyclef Jean and Pras are both of Haitian descent. After the earthquake Wyclef has been leading the relief efforts, raising money for his charity Yele and trying to gain support for relocating 2 million Port au Prince residents. But what other celebrities have Haitian heritage? Plenty. Take a look at the following list.

If you think we just came up with this list to help raise money for earthquake relief efforts, you're definitely on to us. You can send $10 right now to help the American Red Cross effort in Haiti by texting "Haiti" to 90999 (a charge will be added to your phone bill). For those who want to give more, please donate to Hope for Haiti Now. And don't forget to watch tonight's telethon: Hope for Haiti Now.

10. Maxwell -- While the neo-soul crooner was raised in Brooklyn, his mother was from Haiti. He recently attended an emergency meeting organized by former President Bill Clinton to develop ways of helping the impoverished people of Haiti.

9. Arcade Fire's Regine Chassagne -- The singer for indie-rock group Arcade Fire recently wrote a piece for The Observer about her ancestral ties to the island and how she is desperately trying to find out about friends and family. "Everybody I talk to says the same thing: time has stopped. Simultaneously, time is at work. Sneakily passing through the cracks, taking the lives of survivors away, one by one."

8. Jason Derulo -- The man who went platinum with the hit "Whatcha Say" was born in Miami to parents who are Haitian immigrants. He recently told MTV News: "I'm really proud how the celebrities have kind of come together, especially Wyclef. I mean, he's always been very, very instrumental in charities for Haiti, but he has really, really stepped up."

"Across The Sky" is an unreleased track from Madonna's Hard Candy album. It's a Timbaland-production, featuring Justin Timberlake on vocals; so we can safely assume it's a product of the same collaborative sessions that produced the singles, "4 Mintues" and "Miles Away," as well as several album cuts from Hard Candy.

I haven't heard any scuttlebutt (awesome word) as to why "Across The Sky" wound up on the cutting room floor. I can only guess it had something to do with its similarity to other Justin/Tim/Maddy collabos on the album. It's dope, but it doesn't bring anything else to the table that wasn't already brought by "4 Minutes."

"Across The Sky" is a larger-than-love love song, if that makes any sense. Madonna seems to be alluding to some of the same creeping, end-of-the-world issues that she talks about in "4 Minutes," and how it effects her affair with her significant other. The beat? Classic, late-period Timbo: beat-boxing, Spanish-flavored acoustic guitar and a propulsive beat.

Check out the song, and see how it compares to "4 Minutes," both below.

The science fair setting of Motion City Soundtrack's new video, "Her Words Destroyed My Planet," means we must deconstruct its imagery using everything we learned about critical thinking while studying for the SATs. For starters, the title "Her Words Destroyed My Planet" tells us all we need to know -- or does it? What was the protagonist's planet like? Before the breakup described in the lyrics, this world had an Xbox and weed. Any NASA scientist would agree this world sounds quite habitable. Then a romantic catastrophe occurred and the broken-hearted occupant of this planet was sent careening out of orbit. As a result, he shaved off his beard and got a job at Uncommon Grounds.  A true tragedy.

Now let's delve into the video setting. Motion City Soundtrack singer Justin Pierre and guitarist Joshua Cain and video director Isaac Rentz chose not to set this "Planet" in a strip mall java hut or Xbox-less rumpus room. No, they went deep into the belly of the school gym science fair where baking soda volcanoes crumble like hearts, creating a gritty analogy for their brittle tune. Ergo, "Planet" is to "Science Fair" as "Breakups" are to ... well, you'll just have to watch the video to get the answer to that.

Bill Kaulitz is usually the subject of style scrutiny or under the spotlight on the catwalk -- he just walked the runway in Dsquared's Milan fashion show this week, and Bill and Tom were both on the cover of German GQ. But the men of Tokio Hotel have plenty of views you can use when it comes to fashion. Check out this exclusive interview with Tokio Hotel from our friends at Teen.com. They asked Tokio Hotel to weigh in on celebrity hits and misses. And what's a Tokio Hotel interview without reference to David Hasselhoff? Blame it on Tom, natch.

In a recent interview with Cinematical, Matthew Broderick, actor and, in days of yore, star of the classic John Hughes-directed teen movie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, was asked what he thought of a Ferris Bueller's Day Off remake.

Broderick said he's "perfectly happy for somebody to do that." So we thought we'd help the process along by nominating some folks for the lead role of Ferris in the totally hypothetical Ferris Bueller's Day Off re-make.

Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low)
Videos like "Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't)" have shown Gaskarth and his All Time Low cronies can do highs school, and "Dear Maria, Count Me In" and "Six Feet Under The Stars" shows they can be funny. Add the two together, along with Gaskarth's charm and good looks, and you get a perfect recipe for Bueller.

Joe Jonas
Already rocks the '80s style blazers with the sleeves rolled up and already wants to do more acting. Kevin is married, Nick's got an administration to run, and that leaves Joe with some down time before another Jonas Brothers album. Besides, couldn't you see him leading the city of Chicago through a rousing rendition of "Twist And Shout?"

Justin Bieber
C'mon. This dude is Ferris Bueller. Probably the most age-appropriate of all the choices. Bieber seems like the kind of kid who would be the apple of many a gal's eye while remaining lovingly faithful to his girlfriend, all while maintaining good ties to motorheads, geeks, wastoids and dweebies. Everyone thinks he's a righteous dude.

Kid Cudi
Kind of a wild card, we picked Cudi because of his sarcastic, laconic sense of humor (as seen in vids like "Make Her Say"). Something about Cudi just tells us he could pull off the Abe Froman, sausage king of Chicago prank.

Demi Lovato
This would be our personal choice. If you're gonna reboot a franchise, why not come at it from a completely different angle; in this case, flipping Ferris' gender and making him a teenage gal? And who better than Demi Lovato?

Now, granted, Demi has been a little more Gaga than high schooler these days (as seen in the "Remember December" video above), but she's still got that really likable vibe. And maybe Selena Gomez could play Cameron?! We're just spit-balling here!

+ Who do you think should play Ferris Bueller?
