Video Premiere: AFI, ‘Beautiful Thieves’

Earlier this week we gave to you a look at AFI‘s newest video “Beautiful Thieves.” The 30 second sneak peek was pretty cryptic, as was AFI frontman Davey Havok‘s suggestion that the finished version, “shows people being forced to be responsible for their actions, we implement that retribution, if you will.”

Well, now it’s time to get to the bottom of all this forced responsibility, if you will. Directed by Travis Kopach (Hinder‘s “Without You,” Taking Back Sunday‘s “Sink Into Me“), “Beautiful Thieves” (which was taken from AFI’s Crash Love album), finds AFI playing house band at a creepy upper-crust party.

The men wear suits, the women are decked out in white dresses; Havok pours something called Venenum, also known as venom, into a punch bowl, and in the end (spoiler alert) the punks get their revenge on high society.

You’ll have to watch the video to see exactly how it all goes down. Check it out below. Crash Love is available now.
