Here we have the "We Are The World: 25 Years For Haiti" video, directed by Academy Award winning writer/director Paul Haggis (Crash). Featuring a cast of countless actors, singers and entertainers, released for the sole purpose of benefiting the earthquake-ravaged nation of Haiti.
There's a lot to take note of here. So let's just point out:
+ Vocalists like Jennifer Hudson, Tony Bennett and Josh Groban working hand in hand with younger pop stars like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers.
+ A touching "duet" on the first chorus between Janet Jackson and her late brother Michael.
+ The increasingly emotional vocal relay between Pink, a sample of Michael Jackson's vocals from the original "We Are The World," Usher and Celine Dion.
+ Haggis' cutting between in-studio footage and scenes from on the ground, in Haiti.
+ Lil' Wayne's auto-tuned Bob Dylan impersonation over Carlos Santana's guitar solo.
And a ton more..
