When I first saw the preview for Takers a couple weeks ago, I immediately thought two things: 1.) Who keeps giving film roles to Hayden Christensen, and 2.) Where in the world is T.I. these days?
Sadly, I might never get the answer to my first question, but after the peeps at MTV News reported about T.I. making his first public appearance on Monday night, I can finally cross The Rubberband Man off my missing persons list and concentrate on locating the actor who played Richard "Boner" Stabone on Growing Pains.
T.I. arrived alongside fiancée Tameka "Tiny" Cottle at the Atlanta Opera to support the Tiny & Toya star's Alzheimer research fundraiser called "For The Love Of Our Fathers." T.I. is serving out the remainder of his sentence on gun possession charges in a halfway house.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the Grand Hustle CEO seemed to be in good spirits and capped off the evening by getting on stage and saying, "I am very well, very happy to be seen."
MTV News recently spoke with T.I.'s manager and Grand Hustle label partner Jason Geter about the rapper's plans for the future. Read all about it here.
