Following in the footsteps of fellow fashion moguls like Michael Kors and Kim Kardashian, Rihanna is the latest star to lend her name to a fragrance—at least that's the plan when the "Rated R"-hottie decides what to call said scent.
According to RihannaDaily.com, the perfume is expected to hit stores by the end of the year but Miss Fenty needs your help first. She's asking fans to open their creative umbrellas and suggest possible names for the fragrance. Based on user feedback, contenders include "Rihlicious," "SeRihnity" and a bunch of other suggestions that aren't a play on the pop singer's first-name.
Rihanna and her team are said to be sifting through the comments in search of the best name possible, so hoof it over to RihannaDaily.com and throw your aromatic suggestion in the ring!
I vote for "Ri-Hab." What about you?

+ Yesterday, we showed you photos of Justin Bieber's performance at the Long Island tween-rock summit, Pop-Con. Today, we've got some video of J.B. paying tribute to the soul men who came before him. Check out Bieber covering Usher's "U Got It Bad" and Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River." (Oh No They Didn't!)
+ Speaking of paying tribute, it's called "mutual admiration" for a reason. In this case, it's a veteran paying homage to a newcomer. Annie Lennox recently took to her blog to write a post called "Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga." Guess who she was writing about? Yep, seems the Eurythmics singer is infatuated with all-things Gaga, from the tunes to the costumes to the set design of her live show. (Spinner)
+ After playing Friday Night With Jonathan Ross in England last week, Jay-Z brought things back stateside to kick off his Blueprint 3 tour in Florida. Check out picks of Hova, Trey Songz and Beyonce in action. (Rap-Up)
+ Never let it be said that Ludacris is the type of guy to kick a man when he's down—unless that man is Tiger Woods. Luda's new song, "Sexting," apparently begins with a sure-to-be-popular-at-the-Woods-residence parody of Tiger's recent "problems." Oy va voy. (Idolator)
+ Love the "island-pop" of Iyaz's "Replay"? Then take a sec to learn all about the rising star in this revealing interview, which discusses how Iyaz blew off Sean Kingston, his time at the New England of Technology, and much more. (PopEater)

No longer able to contain her majesty and fierceness on just one magazine cover, the publishing industry has finally come to the conclusion that if you wanna tackle Lady Gaga, you're gonna to clear out a couple newsstand shelves.
At least that would explain her overwhelming presence on two—yeah, I said two—upcoming periodicals in the coming weeks: Q and Cosmopolitan.
On the Q cover, which we spotted at Vainstyle, Gaga seems unexpectedly covered up, rocking a short, frizzy hairstyle, some Edward Scissorhands-esque gloves and studded black pants with an... uh... extra appendage poking out. In contrast, the Cosmo cover, found via The Hollywood Gossip, portrays Gaga in little more than her skivvies although decidedly less provocative than the British music magazine.
Unfortunately, all this attention might be ruffling the Lady's feathers. Gaga was apparently acting "extremely weird" at the Q photo-shoot, claiming that she was "not in a good place."
If the rumors are indeed true, it would be understandable that Gaga would be frazzled. After all, her success has been a runaway freight train that's overdue for stop in the station. With her relentless touring and public-appearance schedule, as well as the recent loss of her friend, designer Alexander McQueen, we're a little surprised that she's held it together this long.
Let's hope that she gets the rest she so richly deserves. In the meantime, take to the comments and let us know which Gaga cover you think is more Gagalicious!

Another New York Fashion Week comes to a close and, as usual, I'm left with a laundry list of stylish swag to snag next season. The first item I'd like to throw into my virtual shopping cart is this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff black, quilted satchel with fringed zipper-pull tassel.
The above bag is from the designer's Fall 2010 collection and has yet to be listed on Minkoff's website. Tears. However, the classic Morning After Bag, which doesn't boast all the bedazzled detailing but is currently in stock, ranks a close second on my wish list. The MAB sells for $595.
Where's a hammer so I can break open my piggy bank?

Monsters and mortals alike are preparing for the arrival of the Lady Gaga and Beyonce's highly anticipated video for their duet "Telephone"—which should be sometime this week, according to Gagaloo. So exciting!
While I was putting on my Alexander McQueen lobster claw heels this morning, I got to thinking about some of my all-time favorite over-the-top pop duets. Cheesy-yet-timeless, infectious-yet-heartbreaking, I proudly present the best pop duets clips, personally picked and dusted off from the MTV video vault.
"Where You Are" by Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson: Before she was considered "sexual napalm" by certain loud-mouthed guitar god, Jessica Simpson was just a fresh-faced, tuna-loving newlywed. Not only does this video remind me of better, simpler times, but it also makes me realize that music videos need more merry-go-rounds in them.
"Me Against The Music" by Britney Spears and Madonna: Now, I've heard of pole-dancing, table-dancing and chair-dancing but I never heard of wall-dancing until I saw this clip. Kind of gives a new meaning to, "If these walls could talk..."
"Opposites Attract" by Paula Abdul and MC Skat Kat: At the time this video premiered, a carton cat dancing with a human being—or Paula Abdul—was a huge advance in the field of computer animation. Hell, the clip even scored a Grammy in 1991 for "Best Short Form Music Video." Fortunately for us (but unfortunately for Monsieur Skat Kat), digital graphics have come a long way since then. Why, if we were to show this to James Cameron right now, he'd probably laugh up a hairball. No matter, this song is still just as poptastic as it was 20 years ago.

Snoop, where are thou? I miss you, Dogg! Thankfully, with the absolute ubiquity of D-O-double-G's last hit, "I Wanna Rock," and the cut's Jay-Z-assisted remix, I feel like I'm living through a second coming of the Doggfather. Plus, with the recent release of his new track, "That Tree," it doesn't look like Snoop's going to fizzle anytime soon-izzle.
Produced by Diplo (Major Lazer, M.I.A., Santogold), "That Tree" is a glitchy, Neptunes-esque track, with bubbling keyboards layered over a skipping beat. Snoop raps about groupies sticking to his head like a kufi before he passes the mic to Kid Cudi, who's more in the mood to sweetly croon.
The How To Make It In America co-star and "Make Her Say" rapper is in fine form, playing the role of R&B hook-master before injecting a verse of his own into the track.
Following the Lady Gaga/The Fame/The Fame Monster routine, "That Tree" is taken from Snoop's upcoming More Malice, a deluxe version of his 2009 full-length, Malice N Wonderland. The re-release is due out March 23rd and will feature the aforementioned Jay-Z track, as well as a collaboration with Soulja Boy.
+ Listen to Snoop Dogg, featuring Kid Cudi, "That Tree," here. Warning: NSFW language.

Uniondale, New York, might not the world's most popular vacation destination but that wasn't the case this past weekend when the inaugural Pop-Con music festival descended upon Nassau Coliseum and the city was filled with screaming Justin Bieber fans.
That's right, The Bieb—along with fellow pop peers like Selena Gomez, Nat & Alex Wolff (from the Nickelodeon series The Naked Brothers Band), Push Play, Meaghan Martin, Mercy Mercedes and Sean Kingston—took the stage to snap, crackle and pop for thousands of tweens (and probably a couple hundred parents, as well).
Are you kicking yourself for missing the action? Don't pummel yourself too hard because we've got all the photographic goodness here!

Oh, the Olympics. It's all about the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat... and the sounds of The All-American Rejects and Wilco? Yeah, the 2010 Winter Games have been chock full of music, both live, in-concert—with tons of artists playing in and around Vancouver—and on record with the official AT&T Winter Games Soundtrack.
Now, with contributions from the likes of Hoobastank, the aforementioned Rejects and Honor Society, it would seem like the soundtrack is largely geared to get extreme brahs and bros all jacked up to open a can of whoop-ass on the half-pipe. But amongst the adrenaline rush of distorted guitars, one needs to make time for surging, rousing, good old-fashioned inspiration jams, right? And no one makes your heart sing like Mariah Carey.
Sure, she might be equally well known for her attitude-filled R&B ("Up Out My Face") or her heartbreaking, break-up ballads ("H.A.T.E. U") but Mariah knows how to bring a crowd to it's feet—and collectively reach for the Kleenex—like no one else. Don't believe me? Just check out her video for "100%," below.
Originally penned for the Precious soundtrack (it was supposed to serve as the lead single, but was replaced by Mary J. Blige's "I Can See In Color"), "100%" is now featured on the AT&T Winter Olympics Soundtrack. The video mixes performance footage of Mariah, in addition to clips of various Olympians giving it their all for the red, white and blue.

We've heard the acoustic preview and listened to the full, studio version, but now it's finally D-Day—or, should I say, B-Day. Yup, Justin Bieber's "Baby" video is finally here. Taken from his forthcoming full-length debut album My World 2.0 and featuring Atlanta big mouth, Ludacris, this Tricky Stewart & The-Dream-penned jam has been a longtime Bieber fan favorite.
In the Colin Tiley-directed clip, Bieber and some friends hit a bowling alley in search of spares, strikes and adolescent companionship. What usually happens at a bowling alley when a bunch of boys and girls find themselves at nearby lanes? A dance off, of course!
Sadly, Ludacris' appearance in the video does not include a cameo at the bowling alley. That's a gutter ball in my book.
J.B.'s My World 2.0 is due out March 23rd. Check out the video, and let the crying commence.

+ A lot of work goes into making Lady Gaga so Gagatastic. Just check her and designer Terrence Koh hand-counting 88 pearls to glue to her face before the somewhat legendary AmFar benefit performance a couple weeks ago. This, my friends, is dedication. (Idolator)
+ It's good news/bad news from Justin Timberlake, who recently told MTV News, "music exploration... it comes up like a freight train, and when it comes, I definitely won't run from it." Does that mean the FutureSex/Lovesounds singer has been contemplating making new music? Could be but, sadly, he's not in any rush because his plate is already overflowing with his William Rast fashion line and his Tenman music label. (MTV News)
+ Jay-Z went on to the popular U.K. chat show Friday Night With Jonathan Ross and gave one his funniest interviews ever by claiming to have come up with the idea for Beyonce's "Single Ladies" dance, competing with the Beatles and much more. It's a must-watch! (Xclusives Zone)
+ If you ever felt the deep need to see Jessica Simpson emerging from a bath not unlike the restorative one they had in the movie Wanted, then today is your lucky day. Check out this shot, taken from Simpson's Twitpic account, shot while Simpson was filming her upcoming VH1 reality show, The Price of Beauty. (PopEater)
+ Speaking of Simpson, if you were wondering just what the deal was with her vague relationship with Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, well, Corgan is more than willing to explain it all for you. (E! Online)
