+ After feeling the unfamiliar winds of her first backlash, Taylor Swift can take heart that her real friends still have her back. Pal Selena Gomez has come to Swift's defense, praising the "You Belong With Me" singer's ability to take the good with the bad and keep it moving. "She's a very strong person," says Gomez of Swift. You go, girl! (MTV News)
+ Pete Wentz has opened up to Elle about pretty much everything except Fall Out Boy's recent demise/indefinite hiatus. The FOB bassist/Decaydance label-chief talks about wearing guyliner, being a walking purse-rack during wife Ashlee Simpson's shopping sprees, and his deep, unwavering love of the Jersey Shore. (Pop Eater)
+ Parents just don't understand—especially if one said parent is conservative British politician, David Cameron. Seems that, while driving around, Cameron and his six-year-old daughter had a little argument over whether she was ready to hear the raunchy pop of Lily Allen. The loser? Cameron's iPod/car stereo connector, which was destroyed in a playful tussle. Cameron's not entirely a square, though; he's an admitted Florence And The Machine fan. (Spinner)
+ Lady Gaga's tour of England got off to a mind-blowing start in Manchester, where she unveiled new sets, new costumes and a fully moving, animatronic squid-looking thing that seems like it was designed by Alien creator H.R. Geiger. Video and photos within. (Rap-Up)

Having educated their "Ignorance" and grown tired of building houses "Brick By Boring Brick," Paramore is pleased to present the video for their third single off brand new eyes, "The Only Exception"—and we hope you have a box of Kleenex handy 'cause this one's a tearjerker.
Inspired by frontwoman Hayley Williams' own heart-breaking experience with her parents' divorce, the clip shows how hard Hayley fights love because, as she sings in the swelling ballad, "I've always lived like this, keeping a comfortable distance and up until now, I had sworn to myself that I'm content with loneliness."
Sniff, sniff.
Don't be lonely, Hayley! There's a hot guy in the video waiting for you with open arms!

Yesterday, Justin Timberlake and bestie/business parner Trace Ayla unveiled the latest line from their William Rast fashion label.
According to New York Magazine, it was a relatively celeb-free affair, with only Timberlake gal-pal Jessica Biel and singer Estelle making any paparazzi cameras pop. There might have been more star-wattage, but apparently Twilight's Kellan Lutz was handed the injustice of having to wait five whole minutes to get in. (The horror!)
What about the collection, itself, you ask? Well, the line seemed to have a certain "high-school rebel" feel to it—but in a good way. The oversized sweatshirts, army-green khakis, combat boots, "you-just-don't-get-me" faux fur-collared jackets all kinda looked like pieces that Judd Nelson would've worn in The Breakfast Club.
Check out more mens and womens fashions after the jump.

Can't wait for Motion City Soundtrack's U.S. tour in April? Well we can totally tide you over until then.
As previously mentioned, team Buzzworthy was embedded on the frontlines with camp Motion City Soundtrack when they played at the Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza with their pals The Swellers, This Providence and Set Your Goals. We got in deep to deliver a great preview feast of what will come in the Spring.
We hung out with the bands before and after the gig (see photos); recorded some of their sets (Motion City Soundtrack's, plus all the opening band pals) and even interviewed the groups on various subjects from their musical influences and stage fright to being on the road. Here's a taste of six MCS songs including, "Disappear" and "The Future Freaks Me Out."
More videos from the show after the jump.

With this video for "Fearless," Taylor Swift takes a well-deserved victory lap. It being the umpteenth single from her 2008 album of the same name, Taylor has cast aside the usual high-end production values and chock-full-o'-narrative feel of vids like "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me," going with the tried and true behind the scenes/life on the road vibe for this new clip.
"Fearless" is made up of faux-grainy documentary footage of Taylor being nervous, Taylor being goofy, Taylor being cute and, most importantly, Taylor playing live.
The song, which is more or less about two youngsters on the precipice of first love, certainly would have lent itself to some sort of story-driven vid, but with the 18-month run she's been on (and her arena tour on the way) Taylor certainly deserves a nostalgic look back at the crazy ride she's been on. Think of it as a PG version of Bon Jovi's "Wanted: Dead Or Alive."

Earlier this week, we gave you a sneak peek at Passion Pit's "Little Secrets" video. Now, as promised, we bring you the entire finished product.
Directed by Timothy Saccenti (who helmed Battles' incredible "Atlas" video), "Little Secrets" follows the well-worn Passion Pit recipe: take a girl, have her walk around, film in a cool way, bon appetit!
"Little Secrets," which is from Passion Pit's lovely Manners album, gives a little more than the band's previous, eye-catching clip for "The Reeling," which follows a girl through a quick supermarket run and into an abandoned warehouse, where people wearing bags over their heads are watching Passion Pit perform. Totally normal, right?
Not to be a spoilery, but the crowd loses their drab head-wear and gets into the moment, dancing along to the uplifting synth pop anthem. Whew!
Check out the video for Passion Pit's "Little Secrets" below.

+ A while back, we chortled, chuckled and LOL'd at Britney Spears' earlier Candie's ad campaign. Well, the new set of advertisements has been released and where we once laughed, we now must respectfully nod our heads Brit's general direction because homegirl looks amazing! Spears was shot by three different high-profile photographers—Annie Leibovitz (above left), Terry Richardson (above right) and Mark Seliger. If you don't believe us, see for yourself! (E! Online)
+ I know we've all been kept up at night, worrying and praying about the financial stability of Akon's 401K. Well, our prayers have been answered. Yes, Akon is going to be able to retire with ease and in luxury. Thankfully, he will not be playing "Locked Up" on the senior citizen circuit. His patronage of a young gal who goes by the name of Lady Gaga has paved the way for a rather comfortable run of senior living. (PopEater)
+ MTV News caught up recently with blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and it turns out he's quite a busy man. Barker is currently immersed in two different projects: one is a collaboration album with DJ A-Trak, which could be seen as an extension of the work he did with the late DJ AM, and the other is a solo album, which is scheduled to feature the likes of Wu-Tang Clan's RZA, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington and Slipknot's Corey Taylor. (MTV News)
+ 3Oh!3 are back in the studio, recording their new album, Streets Of Gold, with the help of super-producers Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco. When asked about new tunage, the Denver duo explained, "We're going full-ahead with the sexism and misogyny. We're trying to blaze new trails." (EW)
+ Have you seen the awesome #BecauseOfNickiMinaj trending topic on Twitter recently? In case you missed it, Idolator has compiled the greatest hits for your perusal, featuring classics like, "i failed my speech and english classes bc i said things like bestest." See? Rappers are role models. (Idolator)

Courtney Love / Photographed for SPIN by Daniel Jackson
Fifteen years ago, Hole escaped Seattle obscurity and captured grunge hearts everywhere, thanks to the girl-power prowess of their eccentric frontwoman Courtney Love and the mope-rock anthems on the band's breakthrough album Live Through This. The band was active for another five years before going on indefinite hiatus. In the time since, some former members have found solo success (we're looking at you, Melissa Auf Der Maur) while C. Love became a beloved piece of tabloid fodder and couldn't go a day—a drink or a toke—without landing herself in the headlines.
At long last, Courtney has sobered up, returned to her punk-rock roots and reformed Hole—with all new members, mind you (including guitarist Micko Larkin, bassist Shawn Dailey and drummer Stu Fischer.) Miss World opened up exclusively to SPIN for the magazine's March issue and revealed details about what to expect from the band's new long-awaited album Nobody's Daughter, the legal woes between her and Kurt Cobain's family and how the turmoil has affect her relationship with her daughter Francis Bean.
MTV Buzzworthy caught up with SPIN scribe Phoebe Reilly for an exclusive interview about her experience with the former Mrs. Cobain:
MTV BUZZWORTHY: Have you always been a Hole fan?
PHOEBE REILLY: Yes, I was a huge Hole fan. I bought Live Through This the day it came out. I loved the music but what I most remember are her lyrics, which were so vivid and unusual and repetitive in an interesting way. Sour milk, old age, pee girls, witches—those words come up over and over in her songs. She sounded both proud of and grossed out by womanhood. For teenage girls, there was a lot to connect to there.
Had you met Courtney before the interview or was this the first time you came face-to-face with her?
No, I had not met her. I interviewed her over the phone for SPIN in 2005. We spoke for 10 hours. She kept getting interrupted—she was getting on a plane and had to go through airport security—but she would call back. She's a talker. Read more...

When you live in Hollywood, it's never too soon to starting thinking about amassing power—even when you're a toddler. The photo of the all-too-adorable Kingston Rossdale and Ruby Sweetheart Maguire on PinkIsTheNewBlog.com suggests there's plenty of poetential in pre-tween Hollywood for parents to consider how to turn play dates into future empires.
And so, with such a large amount of our fave actors and musicians deciding to procreate, we thought it would be a great idea to start fixing up some of their offspring before the lil' tykes have to grow up and face all the painful, broken-hearted woes of puberty. We're thinking of calling our burgeoning matchmaker company "Young Love." (Pretty brilliant, right?)
In order to stir up business, we thought we'd offer up the first 5 matches free-of-charge. (You're welcome, Joel Madden.)
1. Harlow Madden (daughter of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden) + Bronx Mogli Wentz (son of Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz)
2. Violet Affleck (daughter of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck) + Max Bratman (son of Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman)
3. Ruby Sweetheart Maguire (daughter of Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer) + Kingston Rossdale (son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale)
