This morning, I woke up, checked Twitter and noticed that Questlove from The Roots had tweeted two simple words that pretty much sum up how we're all feeling, what we're all doing and how we're all living.
Justin Bieber is on top of the world. He's laughing it up on Silent Library, making toddlers cry, releasing bowling-themed music videos with Ludacris (for the song "Baby") and now, today, he's dropping the second single off My World 2.0, "Never Let You Go."
The studio version "Never Let You Go," is pretty much the same as the live version Justin performed for MTV's VMA tour last year. The track, penned by Bryan-Michael Cox and Johnta Austin (Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige), has hooks coming out of every corner, delivered perfectly by Bieber over a slick, shuffling beat.
Along with the aforementioned Luda collaboration, "Baby," it sounds like Bieber is going to have a pretty sweet 16th year.
My World 2.0 is out on March 23.
