Actor Corey Haim, star of iconic '80s teen flicks such as Lost Boys and Lucas, was found dead this morning of an apparent overdose. Haim had battled substance abuse problems for some time. He was 38. (EW)
We've been monitoring Joe Jonas' acting career for a minute. We raised our eyebrows when we heard he was going to appear on Brothers And Sisters, and we applauded when he played a sore-loser tennis player in Vampire Weekend's "Giving Up The Gun." But we feel like the role of Captain America might be one he's better off not getting. Why? Because his brother Kevin is also, reportedly, up for the role. That could make for some awkward tour bus chats, no? Lucky for them, it appears The Office's John Krasinski is in pole position to play the comic book icon. (Limelife)
Justin Bieber is many things: troubadour, poet, lover, dare-taker. But perhaps more than all those things, he is a sneaker junkie. Check out a wide-ranging, colorful gallery of Bieber in various kicks. (Idolator)
Last night, Brooklyn saw a celebration of the life and music of the Notorious B.I.G., when Diddy, Rick Ross and Fabolous helped Biggie's DJ, Mister Cee, pay tribute to the late BK legend. The crowd rapped along to classics like "Dead Wrong," Ross did his verse from Diddy-Dirty Money's "Angels," Fab incited chants of "Brooooklyn" and, from the stage, Diddy yelled, "We wanna thank you, Brooklyn, because Brooklyn made the greatest rapper of all time." (MTV News)
Lily Allen's retirement from the studio and stage may be imminent, but her love of attention shows no signs of dissipating any time soon. The Brit singer, who has often complained about the invasive and hurtful nature of U.K. gossip culture, has decided to become the subject of an upcoming reality show, with an eye toward "promoting her new ventures."
