"They can lock me up, but my spirit and my love can never be confined to prison walls," blogs Lil Wayne on his new Web site called WeezyThanxYou.com. Weezy might be behind bars for another 212 days (according to the countdown widget on his site), but that doesn't mean he's going to keep quiet until then.
The Rebirth rapper is actually urging fans to write him while he's locked up because they can take his life, but they'll never take his freedom! (Sorry, I watched "Braveheart" recently and got a little worked up. Please excuse my blue-faced outburst.) Seriously, though, Wayne is encouraging fans to send letters, and he'll try and answer as many of them as possible on his site.
Here's the address, for those interested in a prison pen-pal:
Eric M. Taylor Center (EMTC)
Dwayne Carter NYSID# 02616544L
10-10 Hazen Street
East Elmhurst, NY 11370
By the way, contrary to previous reports, Wayne will not be blogging at ESPN.com. I guess he'll be too preoccupied with license plates.
