You can always count on LCD Soundsystem to shoot straight from the hip, tell you exactly what up, and then make you dance like an idiot. Its epic single "Losing My Edge" was about losing your edge. The gorgeous "All My Friends" was about friends. And the group's newest single, "Drunk Girls," from the upcoming third album, This Is Happening, is about international diplomacy. Kidding! It's about drunk girls.
"Drunk Girls" has a typically raucous LCD bass line, with main dude James Murphy getting all shouty on vocals, accusing said drunk ladies of stealing from the cupboards. I hate when they do that.
While LCD is largely known for its fusion of dance and rock, this jam is pretty much primal proto-punk in the vein of the Velvet Underground or The Ramones.
