+ UPDATE: Watch the full-length "That Tree" video here.
Life after rap can be a scary thing for most of our MCs, so hats off to Kid Cudi and Snoop Dogg for preparing for their post stage-rocking life (just in case they ever decide to stop rocking and rapping on stages) by taking up an alternative vocation and becoming lumberjacks.
Our first glimpse of these Paul Bunyans-in-training comes via this video sneak peek of Snoop's newest video "That Tree." Taken from his Malice N Wonderland re-issue, More Malice, we find Kid Cudi and Snoop cutting down some cardboard trees and modeling some rather fashionable khakis, all with the aid of some attractive lumberjack assistants. I had no idea lady lumberjack assistants were so hot. Rap videos really can teach you so much.
Now as to whether the subject matter of "That Tree" refers to cutting down oaks and pines, or relates to some other kind of botanical pursuit, is somewhat unclear. I'm sure long-time Snoop listeners might have a guess as to what he's rapping about.
Check out the sneak peek for "That Tree" below. And be sure to check back on MTV and MTV.com this Thursday, April 15 to watch the full-length video premiere.
