A couple of weeks ago we took a look at some of the must-have music apps for Apple's iPad. Several of the apps promised user-friendly experiences, allowing novices the chance to DJ, fool around on a (fake) piano and remix songs. But it got us wondering: What kind of music-making potential does the iPad have in the hands of a true composer or musician?
We got out answer! A.R. Rahman, famed composer of Bollywood soundtracks and the man largely responsible for the sound of the Academy Award-winning film "Slumdog Millionaire" (for which he won two Oscars himself), recently gave MTV Iggy a little demonstration of his iPad musical acumen.
Rahman toys around with an app called Bebot, making a song from scratch, right on the spot. Check out the video below, and be sure to check out Rahman's technological innovative and otherwise awesome The Journey Home tour. You can find dates and more info over at MTV Iggy.
