But recently, as the "Baby" singer has been making his way across Asia, Australia and New Zealand, that frenzy has been bordering on chaos.
Above is a shot of Bieber arriving in New Zealand, greeted by swarms of fans. If he doesn't look too psyched, that's because he wasn't. He tweets: "The airport was crazy. Not happy that someone stole my hat and knocked down my mama. Come on people."
This comes just days after Bieber was forced to cancel an Australian mall appearance due to crowd unrest. Not all was lost, Bieber recently tweeted: "New Zealand = Great success."
