Here we have Katy Perry, making quite the entrance at last night's annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala. Perry rocked a lit-up gown made by the "wearable technology" company CuteCircuit. While there was plenty of star wattage to gawk at, with celebs like Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga (who inexplicably skipped the red carpet), Justin Timberlake and Jennifer Lopez all in attendance, no one shined brighter than Perry, who rocked a superexpensive gown, outfitted with dozens of little LED lights.

It kind of sums up everything there is to like about the "Hot N Cold" singer; glamor, kitsch and beauty all in one package.
