First Justin Bieber and Nick Jonas fans sparred on Twitter, subverting Twitter's trending topic algorithm by an elite force "fanjacking" (an AMAZING portmanteau!) campaign. Then, Justin Bieber PRACTICALLY BROKE THE INNERNETZ when photos surfaced of Justin getting a tattoo of a bird while in Toronto. I mean, that photo of Justin getting his little waist forever emblazoned with a bird is pretty much going to be the next Buzz Aldrin walks on the moon, in terms of photos that rocked pop culture.
Anyway, aside from the fact that that photo pretty much brought the internet to a screeching halt, let's shine some light on one of the issues Bieber's tattoo raises: Justin Bieber is just 16 years old. Though his father accompanied him to get the tattoo (and apparently several members of the Bieber family have tats themselves, specifically a tattoo of a bird), there have been grumblings that 16 is just too young to get a bird on your waist.
What do you think? Is 16 too young to get a tattoo, even if you're with a parent? Is "But Justin Bieber Has A Tattoo!!!" going to be the rallying cry for anyone under 16 who wants a tat? Are you worried Justin might become the next Benji Madden or Trace Cyrus? Oh, Justin. With just a simple bird, you've opened up Pandora's Box of Bieber-related what ifs.
+ Plus: What did Justin Bieber think about the mom of a fan who got a tattoo to win tickets to meet him?
