Here we see Katy Perry, leaving a gym somewhere in Hollywood. She may be keeping her L.A. Dodgers hat on, but we must doff our cap to her total and complete commitment to this whole "California Gurls" thing. Not only is she rocking the Dodger blue, but her T-shirt, which says, "4 Like Ever," is seemingly a tribute to that distinctive, equally loved and derided dialect of Cali Valley Girls called Valspeak.
Perhaps fearing that some other regions of "gurls" might feel left out of her pro-California anthem and the California gurl wardrobe of daisy dukes shorts with a bikini top, Perry took to Twitter yesterday to come up with a number of variations for different regions of the country. She even went as far to flip her lyrics for all the Amish gurls out there: "Floor length skirt, bonnet on top!"
Let it never be said that Katy Perry turned her back on Amish Gurls.
