Guess who's back! Eminem. And he's going out on a ledge in his uplifting new video, "Not Afraid," from his upcoming Recovery album. The video, directed by Rich Lee, features Eminem all alone in a deserted Newark. He stands tall but urges his fans -- especially those in need of healing or help -- to take his hand and see the light he's seen. He's an army of one, and he wants you to join his ranks. Regrets? Eminem’s got a few. Fears? A now-sober, highly existential Eminem’s got none.
"Not Afraid" chronicles the rise, fall, recovery and and redemption of Eminem. With the immortal underpinnings of a superhero, Eminem's "Not Afraid" video signifies a rebuilt, refortified and reborn Marshall Mathers. He's facing his demons, and he's committed to his health, his daughter and the rap game -- and that's it.
"Not Afraid" is the resurrection of Eminem.
