A couple of weeks back we introduced you to the incredibly talented singer, Alexis Jordan. The "America's Got Talent" contestant and YouTube sensation has been blowing people away with her pipes since she was 14 years old, but now, with her video for "Happiness," you can see she's an honest-to-goodness, burgeoning pop star.
"Happiness," which was directed by Aggressive and produced by the hitmakers Stargate (who have worked on almost all of Ne-Yo's best material, among other projects), is a sultry, bubbling dance track that reminds me of both Kylie Minogue and Ne-Yo's more dance-friendly stuff.
Speaking of Kylie, the video has a real "Can't Get You Out Of My Head"/altered reality vibe to it, with everyday scenes played out with a dreamlike quality.
Check out the video below (along with Kylie's "Can't Get You Out Of My Head"). Alexis' debut album is due out this year.
