+ If you thought you heard Miley Cyrus rapping on her new song, "Liberty Walk," think again. According to Cyrus, it's "spoken, rhythmic singing ... I've got no swag." (MTV News)
+ Carrie Underwood will marry hockey player Mike Fisher on July 10. (JustJared)
+ Jay-Z is being sued by a private jet company who claim Hova owes them for hours spent privately flying the friendly skies. Who among us hasn't forgotten to pay the private jet company from time to time!? (TheFabLife)
+ Jerry Seinfeld has got some major issues with Lady Gaga over the use of his New York Mets luxury box and the bird-flipping that ensued there. (Idolator)
+ Speaking of Gaga, she wore some really big boots while walking around Heathrow airport and then fell down. (TMZ)

Here's a theory about "American Idol" contestants and winners that I have. As they get farther and farther from their time on the show, the more they come into their own. No longer required to play by the show's rules, they truly find themselves as artists. And Adam Lambert has found himself in Wonderland.
The runner-up on the eighth season of "American Idol" brought his Glam Nation tour to New York City last night. As you can see by the preponderance of purple, black and velvet, Lambert is embracing his dark side. But it's the top hat that really pushes this new onstage look to a new level, casting the "If I Had You Singer" as a goth Mad Hatter.
Allison Iraheta, who came in fourth on Adam's season of "Idol" opened the show. The Glam Nation tour goes north to Connecticut now. Check here for dates.
Watch Adam's "If I Had You" video, below. And get up-to-the-minute updates from Adam himself at Posted.VH1.com.

Here we see Katy Perry in all her casual (for her) glory as she visits a Toronto radio station the day after the MuchMusic Video Awards. But, though she may not look it, the singer actually had a pretty rough night. At some point, (perhaps during her performance of "California Gurls"?) something went wrong, causing Perry to need 17 stitches.
Perry tweeted earlier, "17 stitches later ... Don't make fun of my dance moves tomorrow. That's what got me here in the first place! Thanks for the souvenir Canada :)!" Does that mean it was a dance-related injury?
Whatever happened and however painful it was, it didn't stop the future Mrs. Russell Brand from rocking some pretty outstanding stilettos.
Applaud this woman. Most gals wouldn't dare don heels like that at all, much less after a dozen and a half stitches. Let's hope that's she's at least exhibiting an extra dose of caution. And if she's not, well, that's dedication to your shoe game!
By way of wishing her a speedy recovery, check out Katy Perry's "California Gurls" video, below.
Kelis has never shied away from the literal. I'm thinking, specifically, of the presence of milkshakes in her video for ... wait for it ..."Milkshake."
But if you've come to her new clip for "4th Of July" (off her new album Flesh Tone) expecting fireworks or hot dogs or kids waving tiny American flags, you will be sadly disappointed.
Which isn't to say there's not a lot to love about this desert-set dance anthem. Directed by Rankin, this clip finds the ex-Mrs. Nas in the sandy mountains and dry plains doing some interpretive dance, rocking her patented nose-to-earring-chain and generally being a diva (in the best way possible).
After our desert interlude, Kelis spins the imagery roulette wheel, landing in the club amid flashing lights, a Native American headdress (holler at Ke$ha!) and some fiery dance moves.
It's a lot to take in, but the journey is worth it for the song alone.
Flesh Tone is out July 6.

It's the question we've been begging to have answered: What if, rather than Alexander Courage's legendary "Star Trek"-theme music, you went into space, the final frontier, and were greeted with the sounds of Ke$ha? What if the voyages of the Starship Enterprise were scored by the catchy-as-all-get-out-but-not-appropriate-for-exploring-new-worlds-tones of "TiK ToK"? Well, thanks to the internet (and hat tip to the folks at Vulture for spotting this), we now know.
This video simply mashes up images from the original "Star Trek" television show with the lyrics to "TiK ToK." It's full of visual jokes -- when Ke$ha refers to her phone blowing up, we see a shot of the Enterprise crew answering their communicators. We also get some great Shatner pimp action.
Check out this amazing "Star Trek" video below as well as Ke$ha's original "Tik Tok" video.

Kelly Rowland has never really exhibited the same flair for the ferocious that her former Destiny's Child star Beyoncé has -- until now. Behold, Rowland's video for "Commander," featuring David Guetta, taken from her forthcoming, self-titled album.
The last Guetta-Rowland collabo, "When Love Takes Over," was a dance-floor smash, and the two work more magic on "Commander," a pulsating club track in which DJs are bodyguards and the beat builds to dizzying heights.
But the video! Rowland goes all fierce latex bodysuit, her hair in a severe ponytail, her chest adorned with sparkly, um, trinkets.
So let's just state the obvious right here: It's a familiar look. The club goddess template is a go-to style for Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera these days, and the similarities in Rowland's latest aren't hard to spot. S&M fashions were a hallmark of Aguilera's "Not Myself Tonight" video. And all that militaristic waving of arms choreography? Well, we just saw that earlier this month in Gaga's "Alejandro."
What do you think of Kelly Rowland's new look? Let us know in the comments. Check out the video below. And as a bonus, revisit her "When Love Takes Over" clip as well. Kelly Rowland is due out this fall.

'Say what now?!'
It's a dark day, America. The Jonas Brothers were once the apple of our country's eye, the slickest, coolest boys around. Parents loved them, girls adored them, boys wanted to be them. They had it all. And in a flash it was gone. That's right, friends, the day some feared would come has arrived: The Jonas Brothers are dorks.
At least that's the case according to a recent post on The Daily Beast. Citing internal Disney market research, the story suggests that other pop-culture phenomenons, such as Justin Bieber and Twilight's hunky werewolf star, Taylor Lautner, have replaced the Jonas Brothers in the hearts of teen America -- specifically female teen America.
One survey participant went so far as to say that she wouldn't be caught wearing Jonas Brothers gear. “If you went to school with a JB backpack, other people might think you're dorky.” The horror!
What do you guys think? Are the Jonas Brothers still cool? Or, like New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys and countless other teen heartthrobs before them, are they considered kinda corny now? Vote in our poll and let us know in the comments, then reminisce with us as we watch the Jonas Brothers at the peak of their coolness in their video for "Burnin' Up," below.

Nobody turns her smile upside down like Rihanna. Here we see the last girl on earth leaving Phillipe Chow in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp. When you're the kind of gal who matches her sweater with her hair, I think it's fair to say you're the kind of gal who likes things just so.
Which is probably why we see lots of pics, like the one above, of Rihanna not looking entirely thrilled. Don't ask me why! I just looked at the menu of Philipe Chow, and I am wild hungry right now! Maine Lobster spring rolls?! Are you kidding? Cheer up, lady! Get some Crispy Duck Soup! Some Salt And Pepper Maryland Soft Shell Crab! Some Chicken Satay! Some Wok Fried Mayonnaise Prawns (actually ... maybe not that last one).
I'm just saying: nice night, Los Angeles Dodgers boyfriend, awesome hair, awesome outfit ... cheer up, Boo.
