Katy Perry stepped out of a New York City hotel yesterday, looking like an awesome, slightly goth version of Kate Hudson's Penny Lane character in "Almost Famous." She was on her way to the airport to head off to Paris.
I have no idea whether or not Perry is particularly superstitious, but that's the only explanation I can give for the amount of trinkets, bric-a-brac and tchotchkies she's got hanging off her neck.
I see an amulet, a hand... dang, girl! Could you not find room for a rabbit's foot? The only other reason I can think of for the antique store Perry is rocking on her neck is the recent gauntlet thrown down by Kanye West, the Egyptian icon necklace he wore at the BET Awards. Never let it be said that Katy Perry is not a player in the celebrity game of unique necklaces. Though because she has taste, she opted not to go for this awesome fail of a necklace.
