On Sunday night Gabi Gregg was named MTV's first Twitter Jockey, or TJ, at the finale of "Follow Me: The Search For The First MTV TJ." Gabi, who blogs over at Young, Fat & Fabulous and can now be followed at the @MTVTJ handle, was a fitting winner for the contest, which pitted tweeters against each other to become the social networking face of MTV.
Gabi wasn't the only winner that night, though. You know who else won? Everybody who was at the live finale at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, because they were all treated to The Ready Set performing their jam "Love Like Woe." And now you win, too, because we've got that live performance for you right here, in case you missed the show. So, basically, all everybody does is win around here.
Jordan Witzigreuter leads his band through a lively reggae-tinged rendition of the song, as the drum machine patterns and keyboard melody are embellished by the live instrumentation.
Check out the video below and check out exclusive MTV photos of The Ready Set. The Ready Set's I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming (from which "Love Like Woe" is taken) is out now. And follow Gabi Gregg at @MTVTJ right now!
